𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | College of Criminal Justice Education held its Second Send Off and Pinning Ceremony of Sinagtala Class of 2025
The College of Criminal Justice Education of Laguna State Polytechnic University - Sta. Cruz Campus held its second Send-Off Ceremony of Fourth-Year Batch Sinagtala Class of 2025 on February 12, 2025, at the LSPU Parade Ground.
Ms. Lianne Louise Gonzalvo, the third-year representative of the Criminal Justice Education Society (CJES), served as the master of ceremony for the event. She introduced the Batch Sinagtala Class of 2025 as they performed the Pass in Review, led by Battalion Commander Al Lester Sacop, a fourth-year criminology intern from Section Bravo, along with the Adjutant Trot of John Deniel B. Tagorda, Intern Public Relation Officer.
Before the Pass in Review commenced, Liezel Baclig-Franco, Ph.D., introduced the distinguished guests, which included officers from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). Ma’am Carina Macalos, represented Governor Ramil L. Hernandez and delivered a heartfelt message.
Following this, the Pinning Ceremony for Batch Sinagtala Class of 2025 took place. Esteemed guests, faculty members of the College of Criminal Justice Education, and parents of the Batch Sinagtala took part in the pinning ceremony.
To conclude the ceremony, Keith Monroe Sembrano, President of Batch Sinagtala Class of 2025, delivered her message as the President of Interns which followed by a closing remarks from Sir Rustom Jay D. Sano, MSCJ.
The Send-off and Pinning Ceremony is a symbolic event that officially designates Criminology students as Criminology Interns. It marks the beginning of their journey as they prepare for deployment across the Tri-Bureau.
At 1200H, the Send-Off and Pinning Ceremony ended.

The batch "SINAGTALA" class of 2025, 4th-year criminology students of Laguna State Polytechnic University performed Drills and Ceremonies as part of their On-the-Job training course led by OJT Adviser, Sir Rustom Jay Sano, MSCJ, and Dr. Liezel Baclig-Franco, on February 6, 2025, at the LSPU Parade Ground.
At 0830H, the performance of drills and ceremonies commenced in preparation for the Send Off Ceremony. The said Drills and Ceremonies were led by Battalion Commander, Al Lester Sacop, with John Deniel Tagorda, acting as Adjutant Trot. It was also assisted by the Company commander, and Platoon Leaders.
The activity ended at exactly 1700H.

At 0800H, all fourth-year criminology students formed at the LSPU Grandstand to discuss important matters for the upcoming Send Off and Pinning Ceremony.
At exactly 0830H, they proceeded to their formation in the LSPU Parade Ground, and gathered their respective rifles.
At 0900H, the performance of drills and ceremonies commenced in preparation for the Send Off Ceremony. The said Drills and Ceremonies were led by Battalion Commander, Al Lester Sacop. It was also assisted by the Company commander, and Platoon Leaders.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Tree Planting Activity: A Simple Act of Planting, A Lifetime of Benefits
The Fourth-year Criminology students conducted a Tree Planting Activity with the theme “𝑨 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑨𝒄𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑩𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒇𝒊𝒕𝒔” in partnership with the Centro Duhat Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Santa Cruz, Laguna, along with the Criminal Justice Education Society (CJES) and College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) Faculty members, on January 28, 2025, at Sitio Patola, Barangay Cansuso, Cavinti, Laguna.
The goal of the Tree Planting Activity is to promote environmental responsibility, community involvement, and sustainability as part of their On-the-Job Training requirement.
On behalf of the 𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐀 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to our OJT Adviser, Sir Rustom Jay Sano, and Dr. Liezel Baclig-Franco for making this event possible. We also extend our appreciation to the officers of the Criminal Justice Education Society (CJES), headed by President Jesslyn V. Ambrosio, for their support and assistance. 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | Outreach Program: Hands of Hope: A Holiday of Sharing and Giving
The College of Criminal Justice Education, in partnership with the Criminology-Intern Officers of the Sinagtala Batch 2024 and Criminal Justice Education Society (CJES) organized an 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) with the theme “𝑯𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑯𝒐𝒑𝒆: 𝑨 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈”.
The program featured the distribution of Christmas Gifts, which includes their basic needs for their everyday essentials, prepared by the Criminology Intern Officers and CCJE Officers dedicated to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), bringing love and joy this holiday season.
The program was hosted by, 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚, 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 - 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 and 𝐋𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐨 𝐂𝐉𝐄𝐒 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝-𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞.
At 0100H, the following Intern Officers and CJES arrived at the Santa Cruz District Jail, at Bayside, Brgy. Calios, Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
At 0130H, after individual inspection, they proceeded to the activity center. The program commenced with an opening prayer by 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐨, 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, followed by the National Anthem.
PSMS Rique Oro, gave his welcoming remarks to all to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs). Followed by a song performance of 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨, 𝐂𝐉𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 and dance presentation performed by 𝐃𝐞𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐛𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐚, 𝐂𝐉𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫.
The highlight of the program was the PDL’s joy in participating in the program showcasing their talent through singing and dancing.
The program concluded with closing remarks from 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, 𝐊𝐞𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐫𝐨𝐞, and 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐂𝐉𝐄, 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐨.
At 0300H, the program ended with photo-ops by all Intern Officers and CJES Officers together with PDLs.
