Today, July 16, 2026, the Junior and Senior High School learners of STCNHS participated in the Workshop on Psychological First Aid, Peer Support, and Mental Wellness, a meaningful initiative aimed at promoting mental health awareness, resilience, and a supportive school community.
The workshop was enriched by the expertise and insights of our esteemed resource speakers from SDO Occidental Mindoro:
๐น Raphael John C. Serrano, Nurse II
๐น Marivic R. Zoleta, Nurse II
๐น Jennefe Delos Santos-Gibo, Teacher III/Guidance Designate
Through informative discussions and engaging activities, participants gained valuable knowledge on mental wellness, the fundamentals of Psychological First Aid (PFA), and the importance of peer support in fostering a safe, compassionate, and understanding environment for all.
STCNHS extends its sincere gratitude to our resource speakers for empowering our learners with the knowledge and skills needed to become more mindful, resilient, and supportive of one another.
Together, let us continue to break the stigma, promote well-being, and remind everyone that asking for help is a sign of strength.
