Tuban Elementary School launches Project RESCUE, its reading intervention program aimed at providing focused support and meaningful learning opportunities for learners who need additional assistance in reading.

The launching, held on August 17, 2026, also marked the presentation of the new set of Barangay Education Workers (BEWs), led by their newly appointed President, Mrs. Emmaruth M. Delgado.

The school, headed by School Principal Mrs. Bernadette Remonde, together with Reading Coordinator Mrs. Loryann Monserate and the entire teaching force, extends its heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated BEW Volunteers for their willingness to serve, support, and be part of the schoolโ€™s continuing mission to strengthen the reading skills of its learners.

With the spirit of volunteerism, partnership, and bayanihan, Project RESCUE takes another step toward ensuring that every learner is given the support they need to read, learn, and succeed.

A Meaningful SBFP Milestone for Tuban Elementary School!

Tuban Elementary School was truly fortunate and honored to welcome the Regional SBFP Evaluation Team, headed by Maโ€™am Reissa T. Silda, SBFP Regional Focal Person, for the evaluation of School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) implementation in our school.

As we continue our journey as a 3rd Year Most Sustained Implementer, we are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our dedication and commitment to the effective and sustained implementation of the program. We are happy to share that Tuban Elementary School garnered 100% in ALL evaluation indicators!
This achievement is a reflection of the collective effort, commitment, and teamwork of our school community. Most importantly, it is made possible through the strong and dedicated leadership of our School Principal, Mrs. Bernadette Remonde, whose guidance and support continue to inspire everyone to uphold quality implementation of SBFP.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Maโ€™am Reissa T. TUBAN, SANTA CRUZ, DAVAO DEL SUR โ€” August 7, 2026. Tuban Elementary School successfully conducted the State of the Learnersโ€™ Government Address (SOLGA) 2026, marking the beginning of the term of the newly elected Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) officers for School Year 2026โ€“2027.

Led by SELG President Raniel James Lascuรฑa, the SOLGA served as a platform to present the administrationโ€™s plans, priorities, programs, and proposed initiatives for the new school year. The activity highlighted the commitment of the young student leaders to foster a more active, responsible, inclusive, and learner-centered school community.

The newly elected SELG officers presented their vision for the school year and laid down their plans for projects and activities that aim to encourage learner participation, leadership, camaraderie, and a stronger sense of responsibility among pupils.

Guiding the young leaders throughout their term is SELG Adviser Mrs. Imelda Duran, whose support and mentorship will help the organization translate its plans into meaningful programs and activities for the learners.

The activity also received the full support of the teaching force of Tuban Elementary School, headed by School Principal Mrs. Bernadette Remonde, underscoring the schoolโ€™s commitment to nurturing young leaders and providing them with opportunities to actively participate in school governance.

Also present during the event was School PTA President Mrs. Marites Guindulman, together with stakeholders from the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Tuban and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Tuban, reflecting the continued partnership and shared commitment of the school and its community stakeholders in supporting learner leadership.

As the new SELG administration begins its journey, SOLGA 2026 marks not the end of a yearโ€™s work, but the beginning of a new chapter of leadership, service, and purposeful action for School Year 2026โ€“2027.

TUBAN, Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur โ€“ The MATS Zone Athletic Selection Meet 2026 was successfully conducted on July 18, 2026, at Tuban Elementary School, gathering student-athletes from four participating schools in preparation for the upcoming District Athletic Meet.

The event brought together learners from Melilia Elementary School, headed by Mrs. Juvy Leron; Agripina Elementary School, headed by Mrs. Alma Pejo; Sinoron Elementary School, headed by Mr. Ronald Iroy; and the host school, Tuban Elementary School, under the leadership of Mrs. Bernadette P. Remonde.

Throughout the day, athletes competed in various sporting events, demonstrating exceptional athletic skills, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The selection meet served as an avenue to identify the most qualified athletes who will represent the MATS Zone in the District Athletic Meet, which will commence on July 25, 2026, at Santa Cruz Central Elementary School.

The event also highlighted the collaborative efforts of school heads, coaches, teachers, technical officials, parents, and stakeholders whose dedication ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the activity. Their unwavering support created an environment where young athletes were encouraged to perform at their best while embracing the values of respect, perseverance, and fair play.

As the selected athletes prepare for the next level of competition, they carry not only their individual aspirations but also the pride and honor of the entire MATS Zone. The MATS Zone community extends its warmest congratulations to all qualifiers and wishes them success as they proudly raise the MATS Zone banner in the forthcoming District Athletic Meet.

The MATS Zone Athletic Selection Meet once again reaffirmed its commitment to developing well-rounded learners by promoting excellence in sports, strengthening camaraderie among participating schools, and inspiring young athletes to strive for greater achievements both on and off the playing field.

School PTA General Assembly 2026

A heartfelt thank you to all our parents, teachers, stakeholders, and partner agencies who attended the General School PTA Assembly held last June 16, 2026.

Congratulations to Mrs. Marites Guindulman on her re-election as our General School PTA President for School Year 2026โ€“2027. Your continued commitment and dedication to serving the Tuban ES community are truly appreciated.

During the assembly, the newly elected PTA officers presented their plans and priority projects for the school, including the established Tuban Elementary School Landmark Project for the school year 2025-2026โ€”a prominent school signage that will proudly welcome everyone at the entrance of our campus and strengthen our school's identity.

Our School Principal, Mrs. Bernadette Remonde also shared important updates, plans, and directions for the new school year, emphasizing the value of collaboration between the school, parents, and the community in providing quality education for our learners.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to our guest speakers from the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) for sharing valuable information that promotes safety, preparedness, and security within our school community.

SCHOOL-BASED FEEDING PROGRAM

Last July 13, 2026, our school officially launched the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP), benefiting 120 identified learners. As a designated drop-off point, hot meals are served every Monday, while Nutri Food Products are distributed from Tuesday to Friday to support the health, nutrition, and overall well-being of our beneficiaries.

This program reflects our shared commitment to ensuring that every child receives proper nutrition to help them grow, learn, and succeed in school.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to DepEd for making this meaningful initiative possible. We also extend our sincere appreciation to our School Principal, Mrs. Bernadette Remonde , for her steadfast leadership and support, as well as to our dedicated teachers, volunteers, parents, and partners whose collective efforts continue to make this program a success.
