Honored and Grateful at Matalaba Elementary School!
Last December 19, Kaluppâ Foundation was invited to a beautiful recognition ceremony at Matalaba Elementary School, celebrating partners who made a difference in 2025. We are deeply thankful to DepEd Santa Cruz South District and the school leadership for honoring our collaboration, especially the Rainwater Catchment Project that supports sustainability and nutrition goals for learners.
We’re also proud that Matalaba ES students joined us at the Junior Environmental Scouts event held at our Integrated Farm in Santa Cruz as part of the Shore It Up Weekend with Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF). Over 200 young learners explored marine conservation, biodiversity, and hands-on eco-activities—proving that environmental stewardship begins early.
To our partners, educators, and community leaders—thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we grow schools, empower children, and protect our planet.

Kaluppâ Foundation Receives Recognition from DepEd Santa Cruz South District!
We are honored to receive this Certificate of Recognition from the Department of Education – Schools Division of Marinduque, Santa Cruz South District, for our unwavering dedication and meaningful partnerships that create lasting impact on learners and school communities.
This 2025, Kaluppâ Foundation advanced projects rooted in Kalikasan, Lupa, at Pamayanan for the benefit of elementary schools and students in the district.
Empowering Matalaba Elementary School with Rainwater Catchment System
On June 28, 2025, Kaluppâ Foundation, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Metro Valenzuela (led by Patrick Jeanjacquet), Inner Wheel Club of Metro Valenzuela (headed by Jabeth Dacanay), and Rotary Club of Marinduque North (led by Sheila Wilhelm), proudly turned over a Rain Catcher System to Matalaba Elementary School under the program “TUBIG-ULAN, GAMIT SA PAARALAN: Rainwater Catchment for Clean and Green Learning Spaces.”
This system supports gardening, cleaning, and sanitation—helping sustain school gardens that provide fresh produce for feeding programs and nutrition education. As a newly designated Integrated School Nutrition Model Lighthouse School, Matalaba ES is now better equipped to advance environmental and health goals.
Raising Young Earth Defenders
On August 30, 2025, Kaluppâ Foundation hosted the Junior Environmental Scouts event at our Integrated Farm in Santa Cruz as part of the Shore It Up Weekend.
Over 200 young learners explored marine conservation, biodiversity, and environmental stewardship through hands-on activities. Each child received a Turtle Pawi-themed eco bag, JES workbook, lunchbox, school supplies, and a scout handkerchief to inspire responsibility beyond the day.
This initiative was made possible with the support of Metro Pacific Investments Foundation (MPIF), the Provincial Government of Marinduque, and DepEd – Division of Marinduque, joined by key leaders and partners who share our vision of nurturing eco-champions for the future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to DepEd Santa Cruz South District, our partners, and the dedicated educators who make these initiatives possible. Together, we build a future where every child thrives in a sustainable and resilient environment.

From Farmers to Agripreneurs: A 3-Day Journey of Innovation
Kaluppâ Foundation’s Executive Director, Mr. Rafael Seño, recently led a transformative 3-day Agroentrepreneurship Training for 25 ACP NC II TESDA Scholars at Fazendas Agri-Productivity and Training Center, an experience designed to turn farmers into agripreneurs and innovators.
Day 1 opened with a powerful discussion on the Entrepreneurial Mindset, exploring the difference between an Entrepreneur—a creator of new ideas and opportunities—and a Businessman, who focuses on managing and growing existing ventures.
The day also introduced Farm Business Management, covering essentials like marketing strategies (product, price, promotion, place), branding, and the role of social media in modern agribusiness.
Day 2 strengthened this foundation with focused sessions on the Business Model Canvas (BMC), business proposal development, and advanced social media management. Scholars worked hands-on to map out their ideas, identify strengths and gaps, and craft proposals that could turn concepts into sustainable farm enterprises.
Day 3 was the culmination of brainstorming, futures thinking, and dream shaping. Each group presented their BMC and business proposal in a defense panel style, showcasing creativity, strategy, and vision for agribusiness ventures that can thrive in real-world markets.
From organic produce to coconut-based products, every idea shared carried hope for better livelihoods and pride in local resources. This program goes beyond training, it sparks resilience, innovation, and community-driven growth.
Kaluppâ Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to Fazendas Agri-Productivity and Training Center for the opportunity to share knowledge and empower future agripreneurs. Together, we are sowing seeds of innovation for a thriving tomorrow.

A Beautiful Day with Our TESDA Family!
Today reminded us of the power of coming together as tech-voc institutions, and as one family united by a shared mission. 💙
We began the morning at the 3rd TVET Forum, hosted by TESDA Marinduque Provincial Office, and attended by all technical-vocational institutions (TVIs) in the province. It was a meaningful time to reflect on this year’s accomplishments, exchange ideas, and strengthen our commitment to making technical-vocational education a true pathway to progress for Marinduque.
And then… the joy continued! 🎄 The TESDA 2025 Christmas Party brought laughter, fun games, good food, warm conversations, and exciting prizes! This celebration was a testament to friendships, partnerships, and the incredible year we’ve shared.
Our heartfelt THANK YOU to Fazendas Training Center for opening your doors and making us feel at home, and to TESDA Marinduque for leading with vision and heart. To every institution that joined us today: thank you for showing up, for sharing your energy, and for reminding us that together, we can do so much more.
As we close 2025, we carry deep gratitude for the journey and bright hope for what’s ahead. Here’s to more collaborations, more milestones, and more lives transformed through skills and education.
From all of us at Kaluppâ Foundation—thank you for being part of this story. 💫

Kaluppâ Says Thank You for the Chance to Learn Corn Farming! 🌱
✅ Corn Morphology & Growth Stages
✅ Land Clearing & Preparation Techniques
✅ Fertilizer Application for Maximum Yield
✅ Seed Sowing & Crop Care
✅ Integrated Pest Management
✅ Identifying & Controlling Pests and Diseases
