The Chemical Society conducted their Orientation program at the LSPU - 𝙎𝘾𝘾 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 on the 𝟮𝟴𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩. Students were informed about the Chemistry 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢's 𝙤𝙗𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨, familiarized with the 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨, 𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨. They were also provided with insights into the 𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 for productive engagement.

Candidates thoroughly laid their platforms while the crowd eagerly listened. The weight of responsibility that comes with the position they aspire towards, is accompanied by the unending support coming from every member of the Chemical Society.

Snapshots from the ChemSoc Outreach Program held on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵, Villa Rosa Subdivision, Calios, Santa Cruz, Laguna—an inspiring initiative organized by the 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 as part of its proposed Plan of Activities.

This meaningful event focused on educating children about 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 and the 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆—empowering them with habits that promote wellness and long-term well-being.

In addition to the learning sessions, the program also extended support to parents by providing 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 to help promote livelihood opportunities within the community.

More than just an act of service, this outreach reflects ChemSoc’s commitment to social responsibility, nurturing a love for 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 and fostering a spirit of 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 among young minds.

Highlights from the seminar-workshop “Unlock the Power of Your Calculator” conducted on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at the 𝗦𝗦𝗕 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹, organized by The 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 and 𝗕𝗦𝗦𝗠𝗖.

BS Chemistry and BS Mathematics students explored advanced calculator techniques using the PRC-approved Karce KC-S991, studied the 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸 (𝗖𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸), and gained practical experience through the 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗞𝗖-𝗦𝟵𝟵𝟭 emulator for PC and laptop.
