Makapuyat National High School officially launched the first day of the ARAL Summer Program (SY 2026–2027) on May 6, 2026, with the presence of Dr. Jay P. Peña, Public Schools District Supervisor of Santa Cruz East District. His monitoring visit underscored the importance of strengthening learning recovery initiatives, as he observed the program’s implementation and engaged with tutors and learners to ensure its success.

Dr. Peña also provided valuable technical assistance, guiding the Makapuyat NHS community in aligning strategies with district goals for quality education. His support and insights serve as an inspiration for teachers and students alike, motivating everyone to maximize the ARAL Summer Program as a vital opportunity to address learning gaps and empower learners toward academic excellence.
