Following the completion of the manual counting of votes, the official results of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) election were finalized and validated by the Commision on Election And Appointment. The winners were formally declared today, January 30, 2026 at Patulangon Elementary School in the presence of learners, teachers, and School Officials.
After the proclamation, the newly elected SELG officers participated in an oath-taking ceremony officiated by Master Teacher himself, Sir Reynaldo C. Barro. During the ceremony, the officers pledged to uphold their duties and responsibilities as student leaders and to serve the learners with integrity and dedication.
The activity marked the successful conclusion of the SELG election 2026 process and the beginning of leadership responsibilities for the newly elected officers, promoting student participation and leadership within the school community.

The Manual Election for the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) was successfully conducted on January 29, 2026 at Patulangon Elementary School to provide learners the opportunity to democratically choose their student leaders for the coming school year 2026 to 2027.
Prior to the election day, orientation and campaign periods were conducted to inform learners about the election process and allow candidates to present their platforms. Ballots, ballot boxes, and voting areas (classrooms) were prepared to ensure an organized and confidential voting process.
On election day, voting officially started at 8:45 am and was participated in by learners from Grades two to five]. Teachers and assigned election committee members facilitated the voting process to ensure order and fairness. Learners lined up by class and cast their votes through manual ballots.
After voting concluded, the election committee conducted the manual counting of votes in a transparent manner in the presence of teacher representatives and candidate watchers. Results were carefully tallied and recorded to ensure accuracy.
The election concluded peacefully and successfully, demonstrating learnersβ active participation in democratic processes. The newly elected SELG officers will serve as student leaders who will help promote discipline, leadership, and cooperation within the school community.
