Our very own Mrs. Niña Bernadette C. Par, together with her student-teacher mentee, earned recognition during the awarding ceremony of the Marinduque State University College of Education, held on May 6, 2026.

Mrs. Niña Bernadette C. Par was awarded Best Cooperating Teacher (Mathematics) for her exemplary guidance, dedication, and mentorship in the field of teaching.

Meanwhile, her student-teacher mentee, Ana Lea P. Lazo, received the Best Demonstration Teacher (Mathematics) award, highlighting her excellence in classroom instruction and teaching performance during her practice teaching.

The Matalaba NHS community extends its warmest congratulations to Mrs. Par and Ms. Lazo for this remarkable achievement. 🎓👏

🎓 𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀

The celebration continued with inspiring words from our Guest Speaker, 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒓. 𝑩𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝑷. 𝑹𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂, heartfelt words of gratitude from our With High Honors students, and meaningful messages from DepEd officials. Their reflections expressed deep appreciation for the guidance of teachers, support of families, and the journey that shaped their success.

The ceremony was further enriched by the Pledge of Loyalty, a touching tribute song, and memorable class photo opportunities with the guest speaker.

Matalaba National High School celebrated its 11th Moving Up Ceremony and 40th Graduation Exercises on March 30, 2026, honoring the achievements of Batch 2026.

Guided by the theme “Filipino Graduates: Prepared to Lead with Competence and Character,” the event highlighted their readiness for the future.

March 27 marked a proud moment for Matalaba National High School as we celebrated our Recognition Day for the School Year 2025–2026.

The event honored the outstanding achievements of our students, recognized the valuable contributions of our stakeholders and alumni, and celebrated the dedication of our teachers. It also featured the State of the School Address (SOSA) delivered by our school head, Mrs. Maxima R. Marquez, highlighting the school’s accomplishments and future direction.
