PALM’S and PUMP’S TUTORIAL SERVICE
POLICY & PROTOCOLS

I. REGISTRATION & PREPARATION

To ensure the best learning outcomes for the student, we implement a "Preparation First" policy.

🌟Subject Pointers: Immediately after inquiry or registration, clients must submit the specific pointers, topics, or syllabus per subject.
🌟Tutor Preparation: This allows our teachers to begin their lesson preparation and study materials specifically for your child’s needs.

II. BOOKING GUIDELINES

We encourage proactive scheduling to guarantee a slot and allow for proper preparation:

🌟Recommended Booking: One (1) week in advance.
🌟Minimum Lead Time: At least 48 hours notice is required for standard bookings.
🌟Reservation Fee: We require a ₱100 down payment to be paid for the reserved slot upon booking. This is non-refundable if the session is canceled in less than 48 hours. (non refundable)

III. SERVICE RATES & FEES

Our rates are based on the type of session and the notice given.
Standard Rates (Booked 48+ hours in advance):

🌟One-on-One Session: ₱190 per hour
🌟Group Session: ₱180 per head / per hour

Urgent Request Rates (Booked within 48 hours):

🌟Urgent Base Rate: ₱190 per head / per hour
🌟Urgent Service Fee: + ₱20 per hour
🌟Total for Urgent Sessions: ₱210 per head / per hour
🌟Urgent Down Payment: For any urgent bookings, a down payment of ₱120 via GCash is required to confirm the slot.

IV. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

We value our tutors' time and preparation. If you have already booked a date and time:
🌟Notification: Please inform us as early as possible if you need to cancel or move a session.
🌟Notice Period: We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for cancellations so that the slot may be offered to other students.
🌟Consistency: Constant last-minute cancellations may affect your priority for future bookings.

V. CHILD SAFETY & PICK-UP PROTOCOL

To ensure the maximum safety of the child, we strictly implement the following:

🌟Authorized Persons: Only the three (3) persons listed in the registration form provided by the teacher during the inquiry are allowed to pick up the child.
🌟ID Requirement: The authorized person must present a valid ID to the teacher before the child will be released. No ID, No Release.
🌟Strict Release: The teacher is strictly prohibited from releasing the student to anyone not documented on the official form.
🌟Security Updates: If there is a temporary change in who will pick up the child, the parent must contact the teacher/center directly before the session begins.

VI. OPERATIONAL PROTOCOLS

🌟The "Wait" Rule: The teacher will wait for the student for a maximum of 15 minutes. If the student is late, the session will still end at the original scheduled time (no time extension).
🌟Group Integrity: For group sessions, the rate is based on the reserved slot. The per-head fee applies even if a student is absent, as the teacher’s time was dedicated to that specific group.
🌟Gadget Policy: Use of phones, tablets, or gaming devices is strictly prohibited during the tutoring hour unless they are being used specifically for the lesson.

VII. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

🌟Preparedness: Students must have all textbooks, notebooks, and writing materials ready before the session starts.
🌟Snacks & Hydration: To keep energy and focus high, students are encouraged to bring their own healthy snacks and a water bottle.
🌟Personal Comfort: For hygiene and comfort within the learning area, students are required to wear socks at all times
🌟Environment: A quiet, well-lit, and distraction-free area is highly recommended to maximize the learning hour.

VIII. HEALTH & HYGIENE PROTOCOLS

To maintain a safe and healthy environment for all students and tutors:

🌟Sick Policy: If a student is feeling unwell or showing symptoms (such as cough, cold, or fever), they are required to wear a face mask throughout the entire session.
🌟Alternative: If the student is too ill to focus, we highly encourage rescheduling the session following our cancellation guidelines to prevent the spread of illness
