Heatstroke can be deadly—but it’s 100% preventable.

Keep your pets safe with these simple tips:
💧 Always provide fresh, cool water
🌳 Keep them in shaded, well-ventilated areas
🚫 Never leave pets inside parked cars
🐕 Walk during cooler hours (early morning or evening)
✂️ Groom regularly, but avoid over-shaving
🧊 Offer cooling options like mats, damp towels, or shallow pools.

⚠️ Watch out for warning signs: excessive panting, drooling, vomiting, weakness, or collapse
👉 If you notice these, cool your pet immediately and bring them to the vet ASAP.

We took this senior dog into our shelter in response to a situation shared by our fellow animal welfare advocates, the Furry Friends Second Chance . This dog, who appears to be in his senior years, was found wandering the premises of Citi Mall. Concerned for his welfare, the head of security safely contained him and alerted the FFSC group. Although they waited two days hoping an owner would come forward, no one claimed him. Since the mall warehouse was not a suitable environment for an animal, Delgado Animal Shelter stepped in to provide a temporary refuge until he can be reunited with his family."

(Note: Doggie is a lovable and friendly boy.
If he is not claimed, he will be scheduled for neutering and made available for adoption.)

🚨 : HELP US REUNITE THIS SENIOR FURBABY WITH HIS FAMILY! 🚨
We just received a report about this Male Senior Dog who appears to have lost his way. He was found wandering near CityMall Parola, looking confused, scared, and at risk of being hit by passing vehicles.
Description of the Dog:
• Breed: Mix breed with long, scruffy fur.
• Color: Brown with a distinct white patch or "puti" on his right eye.
• Temperament: Very gentle and well-behaved ("buot") but currently very anxious.
The Situation:
A kind-hearted security guard on duty Ma'am Luz, spotted him and couldn't leave him in danger. She has secured him temporarily with a leash and provided him with food and water outside the mall premises, as pets are restricted inside.
