SBCES Alumni

November 23, 2025. Last meeting for the year of the SBCES Officers and BOD. Together with the representatives of 2026 Jubilarians, we have laid out the plans and tackled important issues to make the 2026 homecoming fun and memorable for everyone.

📢📢📢 Call for donations.
We need almost 600K pesos to realize this dream: the preservation of the iconic Sundial and beautification of the surroundings in the soon to be called SBCES Park. We also need to fix the drainage around the area for this space is also flood prone.

With the target date of
completion on March 2026, this will be the most important alumni project after the establishment of multi purpose shed and handwashing facility located in the poso area that the SBCES alumni also spearheaded in 2023 - 2024.

On our third year and before we pass the reins to the next batch of leaders, we hope that the alumni of SBCES will once again support us to raise the funds needed to establish the new SBCES Park.

Donors will be acknowledged in soc med and names of donors or batches that will donate at least 10K pesos will be mentioned in the marker to be put at the park and be given a certificate of appreciation.

Bill of materials and cost estimates prepared by Engr. Allan Salaver, SBCES Class 1985 for the improvement of the SBCES Park (sundial area) in front of the school.

We are calling for donations to make this dream a reality that we will be able to finish it before the grand alumni homecoming next year.

SBCES PARK in front of the Santa Barbara Central Elementary School. We are hoping that SBCES graduates/Alumni will share their resources for the present set of Alumni Association Officers implement this project before the Grand Alumni Homecoming on April 18, 2026. Let us help realize this dream.

This project will help the school maintain cleanliness and beautify the surroundings, enhancing the iconic sundial area. It will also promote environmental awareness among learners and make the school more conducive for learning.

In preparation for the SBCES Grand Alumni Homecoming on April 18, 2026, we were joined by the GOLDEN (1976) SILVER (2001), CORAL (1991), SAPPHIRE (1981) , EMERALD (1971) and PEARL (1996) representatives. We have come up with important decisions and commitments with regards to contribution, participation and other important concerns to make the event more enjoyable and memorable to our participants.

Next meeting will be on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2 PM at the SBCES Conf. Room. We hope that more representatives from other batch Jubilarians will join us. Please contact any of the officers for more information.

August 17, 2025. SBCES Alumni Association meeting with representatives of the Golden Jubilarians (Class 1976) and Silver Jubilarians (Class 2001).

The meeting was productive and we have discussed issues, concerns and learnings to improve the 2026 SBCES Grand Alumni Homecoming on April 18, 2026.

We also decided to launch a fund raising campaign beginning October this year for our alumni project which is the SBCES Park (Sundial area) with target date of completion on March 2026.

We also invite representatives of other Jubilarians on the next meeting this October 5, 2025 (Sunday) at 2 PM, SBCES Conf Room.

Regular meeting of the SBCES Alumni Association last June 8, 2025. The new officers Cynthia Alianza as Secretary, Nanette Molinos as Assistant Secretary and Dino Sustento as Asst. Auditor took their Oath of Office.

We also discussed the financial status of the allumni Association presented by our Treasurer Edith Suñer. Initial plans for the 2026 Grand alumni homecoming were presented as we evaluated the recently concluded Grand Reunion with the presence of the SBCES 1976 Golden Jubilarians representative Yetten Delgado.
