CNHS Science Team Celebrates Excellence

A remarkable showcase of talent and teamwork as Krisha M. Piano emerged Champion in the Science Quiz Bee, while Mark Jovanni Upano and Coleen Sabiano secured 2nd Place in STEMazing during the District Science and Technology Fair! 🏆🔬

These achievements were made possible not only through the dedication of their coaches Christian Jay Ongcoy, TII and Rona Madrid, TI but also through the valuable support of Marynol Agcaoili, TIII, and Miguel Pantinople, TIII, who generously shared their expertise and helped train and prepare the learners for the competition.

Kudos to our learners, coaches, and the entire Science team for proving that excellence is achieved through collaboration, commitment, and collective support!

General SPTA Meeting Strengthens School–Parent Partnership

August 14, 2026 — Strengthening collaboration between the school and the home, the General School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Meeting was conducted at Casambalangan National High School to discuss important matters concerning school policies, programs, and activities.

The meeting focused on the school’s rules and regulations and the contents of the printed handbook, ensuring that parents were informed of the policies that promote discipline, safety, and a conducive learning environment.

Parents were also briefed on the programs and activities to be implemented, including preparations for the upcoming CNHS Foundation Day, encouraging their active participation in school initiatives.

The gathering likewise served as a venue for the RDELC and RDNEB Cleanliness Awarding, recognizing students who demonstrated commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order. Proud parents witnessed their children receive recognition for their efforts.

School Head Violeta B. Saguiguit emphasized the importance of active parental involvement and unity between the school and the home, underscoring that strong collaboration and shared responsibility are essential in supporting learners’ development and success.

The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of the school and parents to work together toward the welfare, development, and success of every learner.

A meaningful step toward a safer learning environment as CNHS officially receives a metal detector donated by SB Jerome Ryan Robinion “Jao”, facilitated through the coordination of the SPTA officers. The donation was formally received by School Head Violeta B. Saguiguit, reflecting the strong partnership and shared commitment of stakeholders in promoting the safety and well-being of every learner.

A Candle Passed On: CNHS Celebrates Faculty Transition

A meaningful send-off and welcoming ceremony was convened today at the CNHS Learning Action Cell (LAC) Room of Casambalangan National High School to honor Rejane B. Bernardo, TI and Senior High School Mathematics Teacher, in recognition of her dedicated service, professionalism, and valuable contributions to the school community, while also formally welcoming Khiesha Let Ibos, TI – Senior High School Science Teacher, and Jake Irece Corpuz, TI – Senior High School Mathematics Teacher, as the newest members of the Senior High School faculty.

During the program, School Head Violeta B. Saguiguit delivered an inspiring reflection on two candles, symbolizing the passing on of knowledge, wisdom, and commitment from one educator to another. The message underscored the values of continuity, mentorship, and the enduring influence of teachers in shaping future generations.

The ceremony served as a meaningful expression of gratitude, unity, and support, as the CNHS family formally expressed appreciation to Ms. Bernardo and extended its warmest welcome to the newly appointed educators.

Demonstrating outstanding creativity and artistic excellence, Cristine Mae De Asis Supnad of Casambalangan National High School was declared Champion in the Secondary Category of the 52nd Nutrition Month Poster-Making Contest, held today, July 27, 2026. Anchored on the theme, "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," the competition promoted awareness of proper nutrition and environmental stewardship through creative expression.

Supnad's winning artwork reflected the contest's advocacy, earning top honors and bringing pride to the CNHS community.
