Shared Responsibility, Shared Success: CNHS Engages Stakeholders in School Orientation

Casambalangan National High School (CNHS) successfully conducted its Parents’ and Guardians’ Orientation for School Year 2026–2027, guided by the theme, “Shared Responsibility, Shared Success: Strengthening Stakeholder Engagement for Quality Education” The activity brought together parents, guardians, teachers, and community partners to strengthen collaboration in supporting learners' academic success and well-being.

The highlight of the program is the orientation proper where various school personnel served as resource speakers, discussing important topics for the incoming school year. Margarita G. Caliva, TIII presented the Three-Term Calendar and Strengthening of the SHS Curriculum and ALS Program, while Gilda L. Casco, TIII discussed the New Grading System and Awards and Recognition. Myra Angelie S. Evangelista, TIII also shared information on Learners’ Support Services. The roles and responsibilities of parents and guardians were discussed by Grace P. Blancha, PhD, TIII, while Sheryl A. Galano, TII presented the School Rules and Policies. The ARAL Program was discussed by Jhun Carlo M. Villegas, TI, who also served as the program’s Master of Ceremony.

After the general orientation, parents and guardians proceeded to their respective classrooms to meet with their children's advisers. The classroom-based session provided an opportunity to discuss class expectations, academic requirements, and other important concerns, while strengthening communication between teachers and parents.

With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate your years of unwavering dedication, inspiring leadership, and selfless service. Your wisdom, kindness, and commitment have touched countless lives and left a lasting legacy in our school community.

Learners at Casambalangan National High School (CNHS) began School Year 2026–2027 on a positive note as the school successfully carried out DepEd’s Opening Block activities, fostering a smooth, organized, and learner-centered transition into the new academic year. The initiative provided students with a welcoming environment that promoted readiness, engagement, and a strong foundation for meaningful learning from the very first day of classes.

As part of the Department of Education’s opening of classes monitoring activities, PSDS Maribel R. Serafica, PhD, together with Rowena Matila, Senior Education Program Specialist, visited the school to assess its readiness and support efforts toward a successful and productive start to the school year.

The visit aimed to validate the actual number of learners present on the first day of classes and ensure the smooth and orderly implementation of opening-day operations. The monitoring team worked closely with school personnel to verify attendance and enrollment data while gathering updates on the school's overall readiness and compliance with DepEd’s opening of class guidelines.

Their visit reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing learners with a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school year.
