LOOK: Pananacpan Elementary School Launches ARAL Program with Unity and Hope
Pananacpan, Santa Ana, Cagayan – With joy, songs, and a spirit of camaraderie, Pananacpan Elementary School officially kicked off the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program on September 15, 2025. The event highlighted the school’s commitment to nurturing learners’ potential through teamwork, perseverance, and shared responsibility.
The program opened with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a meaningful message from Mr. Lemuel F. Nervar, Teacher-In-Charge, who emphasized that “Education is a shared journey—we walk it together with our children.”
Mr. Jerick A. Liban, Teacher III and Reading Coordinator, gave an inspiring overview of the program, stressing that ARAL is not merely an activity but a mission to help every learner succeed. He underscored the importance of teachers, parents, and the community working hand-in-hand to strengthen children’s literacy and learning.
Highlights of the program included presentations on the familiar Wh-questions (Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How), as well as a Simultaneous Reading Activity that showcased the active participation of learners, parents, and tutors. Parents nodded in agreement as tutors like Ma'am Lady-Ann M. Lozano, Teacher I, modeled patience, encouragement, and skill in guiding learners.
Parents also expressed their support. Mrs. Marites G. Andres, acknowledged the challenges of home learning but affirmed: “With teachers by our side, we know our children can achieve more.”
The program concluded with words of gratitude from Mr. Ronald Jhon Gutierrez, Teacher I, who expressed appreciation for the dedication of teachers and reminded the community that “ARAL exists because our learners deserve every opportunity to master the basics of reading.”
The launch ended on a high note with the community singing “Tagumpay Nating Lahat,” symbolizing unity, resilience, and shared hope.
Special thanks were given to Adrian Jay T. Felix, Grade V pupil and YES-O President, for capturing the day’s moments through photo documentation.
With the successful kick-off of the ARAL Program, Pananacpan Elementary School once again proved that when the whole community works together, every learner can succeed.

ICYMI || Sir Jonathan Lingan Leads Medical and Outreach Mission in Pananacpan
Pananacpan and nearby communities benefited from a Medical and Outreach Mission on September 7, 2025, made possible through the initiative of Sir Jonathan Lingan, a man known for his love and care for the learners of Pananacpan Elementary School.
Spearheaded by Dr. Leon Caculitan and his team from Baggao, in partnership with generous groups, the mission provided free dental services, circumcision, medical consultations, and book donations for Sierra Falcones. While the eye check-up and distribution of school supplies were not conducted this time, organizers promised to return and extend these services in the future.
This meaningful activity would not have been possible without the support of Hon. Joel Andres, Brgy
Captain of Patunungan, the parents, and the teachers of Pananacpan Elementary School, whose collective effort ensured its success.
