Tagumpay na Matagal nang Inaasam: Asinas Sasabak na sa Regionals!

Mabibigat na kamao, pambihirang footwork, at determinasyon ang ipinamalas ni Carl Joshua S. Asinas sa Bantam Weight (48-51 kgs) matapos makamit ang ginto sa Pandibisyong Palaro noong ika-20 hanggang ika-30 ng Nobyembre na ginanap sa covered court ng Mataas na Paaralan ng Manolo Fortich (MFNHS).

Apat na laban ang kinaharap ni Asinas upang masiguro ang tagumpay na ito kung saan ang una niyang naging katunggali ay mula sa Kadingilan na sinundan ng Maramag. Parehong naiuwi niya ang panalo dahil sa mabibigat na kamao na binitawan niya na naging dahilan upang piliting itigil ng referee ang laban (RSC).

Muling umarangkada si Asinas sa pangatlong laban at nakamit ang Unanimous Decision (UD) laban sa Baungon na siyang nagdala sa kanya sa Final Round. Ang puwestong ito naman ay kaniyang tinapos sa pamamagitan ng sunod-sunod na mabibigat na kamao sa huling laban, upang maselyuhan ang panalo sa Pandibisyong Palaro kontra Kitaotao.

"Nakakabilib ang kanyang determinasyon na manalo at dedikasyon sa pagboboksing, kaya naniniwala akong makakamit namin ang gintong medalya," saad ng kaniyang coach na si Mary Liezel Tacbobo.

"Bawat laban ay inaalay ko sa aking pamilya at paaralan; lagi kong iniisip na maipapanalo ko ang bawat laban para sa mga taong sumusuporta at nagtitiwala sa akin," ayon kay Asinas.

Dahil sa mga dati niyang panalo sa Pandistritong Palaro at Palarong Pambayan, nagawa niyang mapabuti pa ang kaniyang kasanayan sa Boksing sa tulong na rin ng matinding pagsasanay at gabay ng LGU coach, Along Galolo.

"Ninanais kong makarating sa Palarong Pambansa dahil ito na ang huling beses na mairerepresenta ko ang SNHS at ang Manolo Fortich bilang estudyanteng atleta" saad ni Asinas bilang kanyang pangunahing layunin sa paparating na Northern Mindanao Regional Athletic Association (NMRAA).

Congratulations to Our Incredible Student-Athletes! [𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙤𝙨𝙩]

We are bursting with pride as our talented students showcased remarkable skills and outstanding sportsmanship at the recent competition: DIVISION ATHLETIC MEET 2025!

Clark Lumayag finished 5th in the 800 Meter Run, and we couldn't be prouder of him—great job, Clark, and coach Rhiza Joy D. Jamago!

The Takraw Boys achieved a Top 6 finish, demonstrating fantastic teamwork with John Dave Mayantao, Glen Mark Humayag, Dave Khent Hogmon, Devhan Dalauta, hon Carlo Lopez, Mark Anthony Gairan, Mar Dave Hilaylay,
and Jhass Ysteve Hing-on under the guidance of coach Retchen Karl D. Hawinay.

We also celebrate VICTOR DEMETRI D. DAGANLOY for earning the Bronze Medal in LAWN TENNIS —a truly impressive achievement, thanks to coach CHONA MARIE F. BAGONDOL!

Lastly, a huge shoutout to John Den L. Pinhay for being a GOLD MEDALIST and NMRAA Qualifier, showcasing an extraordinary effort in BOXING (SCHOOL BOYS PIN WEIGHT CATEGORY) alongside coach MARY LIEZEL C. TACBOBO.
