CHED grants COPC to 5 CSU Graduate Programs

Cagayan State University – Sanchez Mira Campus Graduate School proudly announces a significant achievement as five (5) graduate programs are now granted the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), effective academic year 2026-2027.

The programs granted COPC are as follows:

Doctor of Philosophy in Education
Major in Educational Management
per CEB Resolution No. 333-2026

Master of Arts in Education
Major in Educational Management
per CEB Resolution No. 038-2026

Master of Arts in Education
Major in English
per CEB Resolution No. 174-2026

Master of Science in Teaching
Major in Mathematics
per CEB Resolution No. 262-2026

Master of Science in Teaching
Major in Biology
per CEB Resolution No. 430-2026

This certification reflects the university’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, quality graduate education, and responsive professional development aligned with national standards for higher education.

This remarkable achievement was made possible through the collective efforts, visionary leadership, and steadfast support of the University President, Prof. Dr. Arthur G. CSU-SM Graduate School holds 2026 Orientation Program

Welcoming new graduate students and providing them with essential information for their academic journey, Cagayan State University-Sanchez Mira (CSU-SM) conducted its Graduate School Orientation Program 2026 on 11 July 2026.

The orientation highlighted the presentation of the University and Campus Officials, as well as the Graduate School Faculty of Instruction, giving students an opportunity to become familiar with the academic leaders and mentors who will support them throughout their graduate studies. The activity also featured the presentation of the university’s vision, mission, core values, and quality policy, along with discussions on general academic policies and graduate school guidelines.

The program further provided important orientation sessions on program planning and supervision, thesis/dissertation preparation, and oral examination procedures to help students understand the requirements and expectations of graduate-level education.

The event concluded with breakout sessions for various graduate programs, including the Doctor of Philosophy, MAEd English and Educational Management, MST Mathematics and Biology, and Master in Public Administration, allowing students to receive program-specific guidance and information.

The orientation served as a platform to prepare graduate students for a meaningful academic experience and reinforce CSU’s commitment to excellence in advanced education and professional growth.
