All cadets are required to report on time and actively participate in the scheduled activities for the entire duration of the training. Strict compliance with the prescribed schedule and proper participation are expected from everyone.

𝐂𝐒𝐔–𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐙 𝐌𝐈𝐑𝐀 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐔𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄

LOOK // On 19 September 2026, the CSU–Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit participated in the Tree Planting and Pledge of Commitment at Cagayan State University–Sanchez Mira Campus, as part of the CSU United initiative.

The activity was spearheaded by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐌. 𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐥, MAED, 𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, together with 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐈𝐚𝐧 𝐓. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐳, RCrim, MSCrim 𝐑𝐎𝐓𝐂 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, alongside the participating ROTC officers and cadets.

More than simply planting trees, the activity served as a reminder that meaningful change begins with collective effort. Each seedling planted represents a shared responsibility to care for nature and contribute to a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable community.

UPDATE // September 12, 2026 – The CSU-Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit successfully held the 10th day of Military Science 1 (MS-1) training at the university gymnasium.

The training was conducted by Training NCO Cpl Orlando Z. Villanueva Jr. PA (Res) and supervised by ROTC Coordinator Mr. Cris Ian T. Rodriguez, MSCrim. Advanced ROTC Officers, led by Corps Commander C/LTC Frank Lorenze Galano 1CL, also supported in managing the activities.

The activities conducted during the training included attendance, cleanliness inspection, field formation and drillings, and a lecture on Military Intelligence, with National Reservist Month also highlighted as part of the day’s activities. These activities provided the cadets with essential knowledge and practical experience while reinforcing the values of discipline, responsibility, and commitment to service.

The CSU-Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit remains committed to developing disciplined, knowledgeable, and responsible cadets equipped with the values of leadership, service, and patriotism in preparation for their future roles in serving the nation.

UPDATE // September 05, 2026 – The CSU-Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit successfully held the 9th day of Military Science 1 (MS-1) training at the university gymnasium.

The training was conducted by Training NCO Cpl Orlando Z. Villanueva Jr. PA (Res) and supervised by ROTC Coordinator Mr. Cris Ian T. Rodriguez, MSCrim. Advanced ROTC Officers, led by Corps Commander C/LTC Frank Lorenze Galano 1CL, also supported in managing the activities.

The training started with attendance, followed by proper formation and drill exercises. These activities helped strengthen the cadets’ discipline, coordination, and ability to follow commands.

The cadets also attended a lecture on Military Leadership, which discussed the importance of discipline, responsibility, integrity, and leading by example.

The 9th training day provided the cadets with valuable knowledge and experience in both military discipline and leadership as they continue their MS-1 training.

UPDATE // August 29, 2026 – The CSU-Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit successfully held the 8th Day of Military Science 1 (MS-1) training at the university gymnasium.

The training was conducted by Training NCO Cpl Orlando Z. Villanueva Jr. PA (Res) and supervised by ROTC Coordinator Mr. Cris Ian T. Rodriguez, MSCrim. Advanced ROTC Officers, led by Corps Commander C/LTC Frank Lorenze Galano 1CL, also supported in managing the activities.

The training commenced with attendance and formation, followed by phasing and basic military drillings. These activities focused on strengthening the cadets’ discipline, coordination, bearing, and ability to follow commands with precision.

Through continuous practice and active participation, the cadets demonstrated commitment to developing the skills and discipline expected of future reservists and responsible citizens.

The CSU-Sanchez Mira ROTC Unit continues to uphold its commitment to instilling discipline, leadership, teamwork, and patriotism among its cadets—one training day at a time.
