CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

As widespread flooding continues to affect several areas in San Simon due to persistent heavy rains brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, it is no longer safe for students and school personnel to travel.

Acting on the recommendation of the Department of Education – San Simon District, Mayor Abundio S. Punsalan Jr. has ordered the suspension of in-person classes in all levels, both public and private, tomorrow, July 22, 2025, to Friday, July 25, 2025.

To ensure learning continuity, schools are encouraged to implement modular and/or online learning modalities during this time.

NOTICE OF CLASS SUSPENSION

Due to the continuous heavy rains brought about by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the resulting flooding in several areas, it has been deemed unsafe for students and teachers to travel.
Upon the recommendation of the Department of Education – San Simon District, Mayor Abundio S. Punsalan Jr. hereby suspends classes in all levels, both public and private, tomorrow, July 21, 2025, in the Municipality of San Simon. This suspension also applies to teaching and non-teaching personnel.
Let us all prioritize safety.
