In light of continuous heavy rains, the Municipal Mayor of San Sebastian, Samar, Hon. Ferdinand T. Gaviola has issued an Executive Order suspending classes in all levels in the said municipality on January 5, 2026.

The Grade 12 Work Immersion students successfully went through Mock Job Interviews yesterday, November 9, 2025 at the SHS Old Building.

This experience prepares them for life beyond the classroom and readiness for the workplace. We wish our students good luck for their Work Immersion!

📌 Senior High School Department successfully held the SHS GENERAL PTA ASSEMBLY on July 21, 2025 (Monday).

Participated by the Grade 11 and Grade 12 parents and guardians, the assembly served as an avenue to discuss school policies, student attendance and participation, grading system, subject requirements, parents’ involvement in meetings, and upcoming SHS activities.

The program was graced by the presence and leadership of School Principal, Mrs. Ronila R. Gabon, and was facilitated by the SHS faculty headed by Mrs. Catalina C. Mabutol. The activity reaffirmed our shared partnership to guide and support our learners toward a productive and meaningful school year. 🤝✨

San Sebastian National High School- SHS Department successfully conducted the Computer Systems Servicing Culminating Activity on February 28, 2025! 🎊

The event celebrated the hard work and dedication of our Grade 12 ICT students, who successfully earned their National Certificate II after passing the in-depth, comprehensive training and assessment.

The event was graced by the presence of two (2) representatives from our partner institution, St. Isidore De Labrador Technical School, Mr. Raymarc Angelo Corales and Mr. Cain Dave Mabansag, who joined us for the occasion. The presence of the Senior High School teachers and proud parents also made the event even more meaningful.

Congratulations to all new NC II holders! Your skills and determination will surely open new doors for opportunities! 🤝👏

Navigating Future: CAREER GUIDANCE ORIENTATION

Grade 10 and Grade 12 students of San Sebastian National High School along with their advisers, had the opportunity to gain valuable insights from six resource speakers representing various professions during the Career Guidance Orientation last February 12, 2025. This event, organized and facilitated by our dedicated School Career Guidance Coordinators, Mrs. Mila Babon and Mrs. Margie P. Distrajo, provided students with the knowledge and inspiration to make informed career choices.
