In recognition of Benildean extraordinary alumni, the BEAT Awards turns the spotlight on upcoming businesses from our most recent graduates, acknowledging their potential for growth and future success!

Since 2019, BeAT has been recognizing Benildean alumni-led startups that use technology to drive both business success and social good powered by the support of DOST-PCIEERD and Benilde HiFi benefactor Mr. Peter D. Garrucho Jr., OBE.

This year, our finalists braved the storms—literally and figuratively—through BeAT Camp, where they dove deep into scaling with purpose, resilience, and real-world impact.

Because they’re not just building startups.
They’re building the future.

Special thanks to CWC International and Mr. Fred Yuson for graciously hosting this year’s BeAT Awards at the CWC Design Center.

This is what it means to .

We are thrilled to announce the Trailblazing Grand Winner of the Benilde Technopreneur Awards 2025:
Mary Grace “Orange” Silverio, founder of Tambanokano Aqua Farm and proud graduate scholar of Benilde's Career Development Program!

Orange stood out among this year’s finalists for her bold, brilliant innovation—a “condominium-style” housing system that helps crabs grow bigger, healthier, and more efficiently — a simple yet powerful innovation with the potential to transform lives in coastal communities.

Her journey is not just a story of startup success — it’s a story of grit, growth, and going back stronger.

This year she returned to BeAT Awards— wiser, more determined, and fully ready to make her vision real.

With the ₱350,000 grant, Benilde and HiFi are honored to stand behind her mission to scale her business and uplift the livelihoods of fisherfolk.

Orange is a living proof of what happens when courage meets purpose — and when a Benildean chooses to rise, again and again.
