🎄 Pamaskong Handog: From Ours to Yours 🎁
📅 December 19, 2025 | Year-End Christmas Party

Through an exciting Raffle Draw using the Roulette Wheel of Names, therteen (13) food packages and seven (7)cash prizes were joyfully given to our students—simple gifts, but shared sincerely from the hearts of our faculty members and staff.

The true highlight of the day was seeing the priceless reactions of the students—their eyes sparkling with excitement, their smiles lighting up the day, and their laughter and cheers filling the air with pure joy.

In these moments, we were reminded of the real essence of Christmas: giving with love, sharing blessings, and spreading happiness.

This Pamaskong Handog is a small gesture with a big heart—from ours to yours. May the spirit of giving continue to inspire us all this season. ✨🎄

Last December 19, 2025, during the Year-End Christmas Party of Pinut-an National High School, the true spirit of Christmas was beautifully reflected in the wishes shared by the students—wishes that were sincere, selfless, and genuinely drawn from the heart.

Out of all the wishes written, only four were granted—not because of their size or value, but because they carried honesty, love, and deep concern for others:

These wishes revealed hearts that think beyond themselves—hearts that understand that Christmas is about love, compassion, and caring for those around them.

At Pinut-an National High School, the school is more than a place of learning—it is a family. A family that nurtures love, empathy, and kindness, where students are guided not only academically but also emotionally and morally. The faculty and staff stand as second parents, always ready to listen, support, and love their learners as their own.

May activities like this continue to strengthen the bond within the PNHS family and inspire everyone to live out the true essence of Christmas—by giving, caring, and paying it forward. 🎄✨

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐎𝐍 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭-𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥! The season of joy, hope, and giving has officially begun as we proudly present “𝓟𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓼𝓴𝓸 𝓝𝓪 𝓗𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓸𝓰 𝓢𝓪’𝔂𝓸!” — a heartfelt initiative lovingly prepared by the teachers and staff of PNHS. This meaningful activity is their special way of sharing the warmth of Christmas with every learner. All PNHS students are encouraged to join by writing their wish letters and dropping them in the designated wish drop box located just outside the Office of the School Head. Whether it’s a long-awaited dream or a simple wish close to your heart, this might be your chance — your Christmas wish could be the next to come true!

More than the gifts, this initiative highlights the 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒔 — 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒋𝒐𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 without expecting anything in return. Through this program, the PNHS teachers and staff hope to remind every student that Christmas is about spreading light, strengthening unity, and fostering a caring and supportive school community. By taking part in this initiative, you become part of a meaningful tradition that uplifts and inspires. The School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) session titled “𝑬𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 21𝒔𝒕 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒚 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈” with the theme “𝑫𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔’ 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒖𝒎 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏,” was successfully conducted under the leadership of Sir Ric C. Laguras. The session provided a professional and purposeful venue for academic reflection and instructional enhancement. As the saying aptly reminds us, “When teachers learn, students shine,” a sentiment that clearly resonated throughout the program.

During the session, teachers engaged in comprehensive discussions and capacity-building activities designed to strengthen curriculum delivery. The exchange of ideas, coupled with evidence-informed strategies, fostered a deeper understanding of effective teaching approaches aligned with the demands of 21st-century education.

Most significantly, the outcomes of this session hold substantial value for our learners. By advancing the competencies and pedagogical practices of teachers, the institution ensures that students receive instruction that is more responsive, meaningful, and developmentally supportive. Indeed, the continuous professional growth of educators serves as a foundation for enhanced student learning and success.

On November 8, 2025, Pinut-an National High School held its quarterly “Tabo sa Kinaadman” and Card Day, an activity that not only recognizes students for their academic excellence but also serves as an important avenue for strengthening the partnership between the school and the parents. Through this gathering, significant updates regarding the Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) were shared, including financial reports, liquidation updates, and plans for ongoing school initiatives.

During the event, the GPTA Secretary read the previous minutes of the meeting, followed by the GPTA Treasurer, who presented the liquidation report of the PTA funds. The School Head, Mr. Ric C. Laguras, also emphasized the detailed breakdown of the students' yearly contribution , highlighting its proper utilization and the importance of maintaining transparency and accountability. He further discussed key matters such as the improved students’ attendance during the flag ceremony and the school’s recent achievements—being named the District Winner of the Gulayan sa Paaralan for the Medium Secondary School Category and 2nd Placer at the IAD Level, among others.

The program concluded with the conduct of homeroom meetings and the distribution of report cards.

🏆 Reniel Brings Home the Gold; Champion in Damath 7 Division Level and Regional Qualifier!

Displaying remarkable skill, focus, and mathematical mastery, Reniel Yekyek, a proud Grade 7 student, clinched the Champion title in Damath 7 (Division Level) during the Division Math Olympiad held at Anahawan National High School, Anahawan, Southern Leyte.

Competing against 21 brilliant contenders from various districts across the division, Reniel’s strategic brilliance and quick analytical thinking secured him not only the top spot but also a well-deserved qualification to the Regional Math Olympiad.

Guided by his dedicated coach, Mrs. Eva O. Monteros, Reniel’s victory is a shining testament to excellence, perseverance, and intellect — proudly waving the flag of the school and the district high! 🎉👏

Heartfelt congratulations as well to all the school’s contestants for their commendable performances and sportsmanship under the guidance of Ms. Jermelyn Lapresa, who also served as one of the school’s dedicated coaches. A huge shout out to our School Head, Ric C. Laguras for the never-ending support. Your efforts and dedication have truly brought pride and honor to the school community.

Representing the District of San Ricardo, Precious proudly ranked 4th out of 21 contestants from different districts across the entire Division of Southern Leyte.
