FEATURE DAY FRIDAY!

From the pen to the crown, Sophia Jyn Gordove proves that excellence comes in many forms! 📝👑

Congratulations to Sophia Jyn Gordove for placing 5th in Feature Writing, English Category during the 2026 Division Schools Press Conference, held on September 11, 2026, at Silago Central School, Silago, Southern Leyte.

This achievement is made even more meaningful with the guidance and dedication of her coach, Sir Federico P. Oclarit. Thank you, Sir, for nurturing Sophia’s talent in writing and helping her bring her story to the page. ✍️👏

And what made the week even more special? Just a few days earlier, on September 7, 2026, Sophia was crowned SIDLAK Muse 2026 during SIDLAK 2026 at Pinut-an National High School. 👑✨

Two achievements in one week, showcasing both her writing prowess and confidence on the stage. Indeed, Sophia is a true example of beauty and brains! 🧠👑

🔬 THE WEEK THAT WAS | DIVISION SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY FAIR 2026 🔬

The celebration continued on September 8–9, 2026, as the Division Science and Technology Fair 2026 was held at St. Bernard Central School, Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte.

Representing the Pinut-an National High School and the San Ricardo District, our division qualifiers stepped forward to showcase their knowledge, skills, creativity, and scientific curiosity in various events.

✨ THE WEEK THAT WAS | SIDLAK 2026 ✨

What a week it has been for Pinut-an National High School! 🌟

Last September 7, 2026, history was made as PNHS officially launched its first-ever SIDLAK 2026, bringing together our learners in a celebration of talent, excellence, creativity, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.

Across the different events and competitions, our learners gave their best in the Academic Events, Litmus Cultural Arts Events, Special Events, SIDLAK Muse 2026, and Sports Events, showcasing their knowledge, creativity, talents, confidence, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship, proving that there are many ways for every learner to shine. ✨

And after the different events and competitions, the first-ever SIDLAK champions emerged:

PNHS Mathletes Make Their Mark in Division Math Olympiad

SAN JUAN, SOUTHERN LEYTE — September 2, 2026. Pinut-an National High School mathletes showcased their skills and determination as they competed in the Division Math Olympiad held at San Juan National High School, San Juan District, on September 2.

Representing PNHS were Reniel M. Yekyek of Grade 8 and John Laurence Y. Abrea of Grade 7, who took on challenging rounds against fellow mathematics enthusiasts from across the division.

Yekyek delivered a strong performance, advancing to Round 3 of the competition, while Abrea successfully cleared Round 1, marking a promising start in his Division Math Olympiad journey.

Guided by their coach, Ma'am Eva Monteros, the two young mathletes displayed perseverance, critical thinking, and competitive spirit as they represented Pinut-an National High School on the division stage.

Their performance highlights the school’s continuing commitment to developing students’ academic talents and fostering excellence in mathematics.

One problem at a time, one round closer to excellence.

A GATE WE CAN BUILD TOGETHER

A GATE FOR TODAY. A LEGACY FOR TOMORROW.

A school gate is more than a structure. It represents safety, identity, dignity, and pride in our school and community.

Pinut-an National High School is humbly reaching out to benevolent donors, alumni, organizations, community partners, and friends of the school who may be willing to extend voluntary support for our proposed School Gate Construction Project.

This is envisioned as a two-year project, recognizing that building it will require time, resources, and the collective support of people who believe in providing our learners with a better and safer school environment.

We do not ask for a fixed amount. **Every voluntary contribution, whether big or small, will be sincerely valued.**

More importantly, this is not simply about building a gate. It is about building something that our learners and the community can be proud to call their own.

🏆 PNHS SHINES AT SCIENCE AND MATH DISTRICT FAIR 2026!🏆

Pinut-an National High School celebrates another remarkable feat as its learners brought home top honors in the Science and Math District Fair 2026 held at San Ricardo Central School on August 21.

PNHS learners secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishes in Damath, Quiz Bee, Spelling Bee, Digital Art, and On-the-Spot Poster Making, showcasing excellence in mathematics, science, creativity, and critical thinking. 🧪📚✨

Behind every achievement are the dedication of our learners and the unwavering guidance of their coaches. Congratulations to everyone who made this victory possible!
