SILAB Phase 1 & 2

Today, the leaders of Busogon Integrated School successfully attended the Phase 1 and Phase 2 implementation of Project SILAB, organized by the ABTIK Organization, held at the San Remigio Municipal Hall, together with their dedicated adviser, Mr. Erwin M. Mellijor.

This meaningful activity provided our student leaders with an opportunity to learn, collaborate, and strengthen their leadership skills and commitment to serving the school and community.

📚 ALAB Tutor Session – Week 2 Successfully Conducted! 💙

Today marks the successful implementation of the second week of our ALAB (Angat Literasiya, Aral, Basa) Tutor Session at Purok Okra and Purok Sikwa, Busogon.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Zevina F. Ancajas, Chairperson on Education, for your unwavering support and for always being with us throughout this meaningful literacy initiative. Your presence continues to inspire both our tutors and learners.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Hon. Abraham Dadol and Hon. Leonila Dadol for generously providing snacks for our ALAB tutors and tutees. Your kindness and generosity are truly appreciated.

Successful ang first day sa ALAB (Angat Literasiya, Aral, Basa) Implementation sa Sitio Dakit, Busogon, San Remigio, Cebu! ❤️

Dako kaayo among pasalamat kang Hon. Zevina Ancajas, EDCOM Chairwoman, Mrs. Aiza F. Ancajas, ug Mrs. Leslie Jean Bantoc, sa inyong padayon nga suporta ug pagtuo sa among ALAB Program.

Daghang salamat usab sa among SSLG Adviser, Mr. Erwin M. Mellijor, sa iyang dedikasyon ug pagpanguna aron mahimong malampuson kining programa.

Special thanks usab sa PYAP of Busogon,headed by Klent Baguio, SK Chairman Hon. Harvie Pago, ug Hon. Kyle Paclipan sa paghatag sa inyong lamiang lugaw kon diin ang mga ALAB participants na busog gyud niini.

Busogon Integrated School proudly celebrates the successful launching of ALAB (Angat Literasiya, Aral, Basa)—a community-based literacy innovation led by the SSLG to promote reading, vocabulary development, and basic sentence construction among our learners.

Thank you to our school leaders, barangay officials, PTA, stakeholders, parents, volunteers, and everyone who made this milestone possible.

🔥📚 ALAB OFFICIALLY IGNITED! 📚🔥

Today marks a meaningful milestone as Busogon Integrated School, through the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), successfully launched ALAB (Angat Literasiya, Aral, Basa)—our Community-Based Literacy Innovation Project dedicated to improving the reading skills, vocabulary, and basic sentence construction of struggling readers and non-readers in the different sitios of Barangay Busogon.

This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to ensuring that every learner has the opportunity to read, learn, and succeed. More than a program, ALAB is a symbol of hope, resilience, and community partnership—bringing literacy closer to every child, especially in the wake of the educational challenges brought by the pandemic and the devastating 6.9-magnitude earthquake that affected our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our School Head, Mr. Sanilou P. Brobo, our Barangay Officials led by Hon. Noel C. Ancajas, Hon. Zevina F. Ancajas, our PTA Officers, teachers, parents, stakeholders, volunteer tutors, SSLG, YES-O, BKD officers, and everyone who supported and witnessed this memorable event.
