📢 Student Emergency Response Team Joins the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill! 🌍🚨

Today, our SERT members, led by DRRM Coordinator Ericson A. De Guzman and Co-Coordinator Johnson B. Handig, actively participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). The activity was supported and supervised by our School Principal, Richard C. Bagtas, with guidance from the MDRRMO, PNP, and BFP of San Rafael.

We carefully noted comments and suggestions for improvements, ensuring we continue to enhance our preparedness and response strategies. A big thank you to everyone who made this drill a success and helped build a more resilient school community! 👏

At Lydia D. Villangca Trade School, our Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) and School Emergency Response Team (SERT) officers are at the forefront of keeping our school community safe, prepared, and resilient in the face of emergencies.

🌐 DRRM Team
Led by our dedicated School Principal I, Richard C. Bagtas, Coordinator, Sir Ericson A. De Guzman, alongside Co-Coordinators Sir Johnson B. Handig and Sir Elmer Galang, the DRRM team ensures our readiness for natural disasters, health emergencies, and other unforeseen events. Their mission is to minimize risks, implement safety protocols, and educate everyone on emergency preparedness.

The SERT officers are our first responders during emergencies, equipped with the skills and knowledge to act swiftly when it matters most. They conduct regular drills, safety inspections, and training sessions to ensure we are always prepared to act promptly in any crisis.

Today, our school successfully conducted the 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill 2024, demonstrating our commitment to safety and preparedness! Special recognition goes to the Student Emergency Response Team (SERT) and the SDRRM Team, led by our dedicated Coordinator, Sir Ericson A. De Guzman, along with Co-Coordinators Sir Johnson B. Handig and Sir Elmer Galang.

The tireless efforts of SERT members and the SDRRM Team ensured that all protocols were followed, roles were executed efficiently, and the entire school community remained engaged and informed throughout the drill. Your hard work, coordination, and leadership have set a high standard for safety and emergency response in our school.
