The students, faculty, and staff of Sisters of Mary Immaculare School actively participated in an Earthquake Drill aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness and promoting a culture of safety within the school community.
The activity served as an important opportunity for the school community to practice appropriate emergency response procedures during an earthquake. Participants demonstrated alertness and discipline as they performed the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" technique and proceeded to designated evacuation areas in an organized and timely manner. The drill highlighted the significance of disaster preparedness and reinforced the importance of remaining calm, vigilant, and cooperative during emergency situations. Through activities like this, the school continues to equip its learners and personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively to natural hazards.
Preparedness is not just a practice. It is a responsibility. Together, the SMIS community stands ready, resilient, and committed to safety.
