We’d like to share a story that reminds us of the power of compassion, understanding, and the importance of seeing beyond disabilities.

A young boy with Down syndrome was the only child in his class not invited to a birthday party. But instead of responding with anger, his mother wrote a heartfelt letter, not to shame, but to explain. She spoke of what it means to raise a child with special needs, and how much it would have meant for her son to be included.

Her words were shared widely, not because they were meant to go viral, but because they were true: Every child wants to feel accepted, to belong, and more than anything, to connect.

In the end, the child was invited. He came home beaming. And a lesson was shared with thousands: that kindness and understanding go further than we think.

At Journeys of Faith, we believe that inclusion shouldn’t be treated like something you do only if it’s convenient. It’s essential.

📢 WALANG PASOK SA BUONG LAGUNA | JULY 25, 2025 (FRIDAY)

As per the official announcement of Governor Sol Aragones, classes in all levels, both public and private, across the entire Province of Laguna are suspended tomorrow, July 25, 2025, due to continuous rains and strong winds brought by the Habagat.

🏫 This includes our school., Journeys of Faith.
💻 Asynchronous/Modular learning will be implemented. Modules will be distributed by the teacher.
📌 Submission of accomplished modules will be on the next face-to-face class.

Let’s all prioritize safety and continue to pray for those affected by flooding. Stay safe, everyone!

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our dedicated educators whose classrooms are usually accessed through screens rather than doors. It was a joy to have them on campus, sharing smiles, laughter, and stories beyond the virtual space.
