Last night at 7:00 PM, the Scouts of Cuyab together with the SCL of Calendola NHS Sct. Oliveros gathered in church for a moment of prayer, thanksgiving, and reflection. 💚⚜️
Strengthened by faith and unity, we continue our commitment to serve God, country, and others.

Taos-pusong binabati ng San Pedro City Tourism, Culture, and Arts Office ang Boy Scouts of the Philippines sa kanilang 89th Charter Anniversary ngayong araw!

Naunang dumating sa Pilipinas ang scouting movement noong unang bahagi ng panahon ng mga Amerikano. Itinatag noong 1914 sa Zamboanga ang pinakamaagang naitalang Boy Scout unit sa Pilipnas, ang Lorillard Spencer Troop. Unti-unting dumami ang mga Boy Scout troops sa Pilipinas at bilang tugon rito, noong 05 Oktubre 1923 ay binuo ng Boy Scouts of America (BSA) ang kanilang Philippine Council upang pangasiwaan ang lahat ng Boy Scout troops sa Pilipinas.

Nang itatag ang Pamahalaang Komonwelt noong 1935 ay napagpasyahan na ihanda na rin ang Scouting movement sa napipintong paglaya ng PIlipinas. Sa panukala ni noo'y Iloilo Assemblyman (kalauna'y Senador) Tomas Confesor, isinabatas noong 31 Oktubre 1936 ang Commonwealth Act No. 111 na nagtatatag sa BSP bilang isang pampublikong korporasyon na naglalayong isulong ang scouting, pagkamakabayan, at kagandahang asal sa mga kabataan. Ang mga itinalagang Charter Members ng BSP ay sina PLDT President Josephus "Joe" Stevenot, Executive Secretary Jorge Vargas, Judge Manuel R. Camus, noo'y Colonel Vicente Lim, ang noo'y peryodistang si Carlos P. Romulo, ang negosyante na si Arsenio N. Luz, at Engr. Gabriel Daza.

Ilang taon matapos ang paglaya ng Pilipinas, noong 1948, itinatag naman ng BSP ang kanilang Laguna Council, kung saan kasalukuyang kabilang ang Boy Scouts of the Philippines - SDO San Pedro City.

Patuloy na katuwang ng Pamahalaan ang BSP sa pagtataguyod ng pagkamakabayan, kahusayan, at integridad sa mga kabataang Pilipino. Isa rin ang BSP sa mga kasama ng ating Tanggapan sa pagsasagawa ng mga programang gumugunita sa mga mahahalagang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan.

An inspiring Online Friday Crewmustahan was held last October 24, 2025, with our dedicated Scouts, led by Sir Dienel Manipol. The virtual gathering promoted unity, leadership, and camaraderie among the Scouts—showing that the Scouting spirit continues to thrive even online. 💚
