ARTFUL SERVICE!

San Pedro City Mayor Art Mercado personally visited Calendola National High School to spearhead the "Artful Service" distribution program. Upon his arrival, the members of the BSP-CNHS and the entire student body welcomed the City Mayor with immense excitement, joy, and vibrant school pride, making the event truly memorable.

Through this valuable local government initiative, students successfully received free school uniforms, shoes, and umbrellas. This program serves as a testament to the city's active and continuous commitment to providing a supportive, well-equipped, and highly motivated learning environment for our youth as they pursue their education.

The administration, faculty, and student body of CNHS express their deepest gratitude to Mayor Mercado for his unwavering dedication to the welfare, development, and academic success of our students.

Earlier today, these brave young scouts of Calendola National High School demonstrated true discipline and love for the country. Despite the heavy downpour, they stood proud, sang the national anthem, and safely lowered our national flag with the utmost respect.

ARAW NG KALAYAAN 2026

The scouts of Calendola National High School - Outfit 51 proudly participated in the 128th Independence Day commemoration ceremony held at the San Pedro City Hall.

Our scouts had the privilege of standing alongside the Girl Scouts of the Philippines from various local institutions, joining local officials and community members in honoring the sacrifices of our heroes. Through this unified civic participation, the scouting movement continues its dedication to fostering patriotism, camaraderie, and national pride among the youth.

‎The scouts of Calendola National High School - Outfit 51 solemnly participated in the proper flag disposal ceremony, held at the San Pedro City Hall.
‎
‎In accordance with Republic Act No. 8491, worn-out Philippine flags are not simply discarded, but are instead given a respectful retirement through burning to preserve their dignity and honor. Our scouts assisted city officials and community members throughout this meaningful tradition, reflecting deep patriotism and respect for our national symbol.
‎
‎Thank you to everyone who joined us in honoring the flag with the reverence it deserves.
