"Throughout life's journey from one milepost to the next, one collects and accumulates all kinds of things. Often these material things can weigh down, preventing one from moving on in life. Don't get trapped in non-essentials — in looking good, competing and winning, gathering power and wealth — when simply being alive is the gift beyond measure. Anything in us is not our own; it is a gift of God. But if it is a gift of God, then it is entirely what one owes in the mind; what one cherishes in heart; to experience, to appreciate and to love each moment for what it's worth."

O Mary, Open Spring which cleanses our faults, Reconciler of sinners, reach out to those who pray you and implore your assistance in Purgatory! O Mary, intercede for our deceased. They await patiently the end of their suffering when they will see you and taste eternal.
