📢 EMERGENCY INFORMATION DISSEMINATION | AIR QUALITY ADVISORY UPDATE🌫️
Our Lady of Assumption College of Laguna, Inc. reminds all students, teachers, staff, parents, and guardians to remain alert, informed, and proactive as smoke haze continues to affect air quality in Laguna and parts of Metro Manila due to ongoing forest fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
At present, the air quality in Laguna may pose health concerns, particularly for sensitive and vulnerable individuals, including children, senior citizens, pregnant women, and those with respiratory conditions. Everyone is encouraged to take extra precautions and prioritize their health and safety.
SAFETY REMINDERS:
• Wear a facemask at all times, especially when outdoors or in areas affected by haze.
• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
• Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when necessary.
• Drink plenty of water and maintain a healthy, nutritious diet.
• Avoid unnecessary outdoor activities and prolonged exposure to the haze.
• Monitor your health and immediately inform your teacher or seek medical attention if you feel unwell, experience difficulty breathing, persistent coughing, dizziness, or other unusual symptoms.
📌 PLEASE STAY INFORMED.
Updates and necessary measures will be communicated based on advisories from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Department of Health (DOH), and local government units.
Let us continue to look after one another and cooperate with all safety measures. Your health and well-being remain our priority.
Stay safe, OLAcians!💙💛
Together, let us remain responsible, prepared, and caring for one another.
