84 Days of Grace, A Lifetime of Gratitude: A Tribute to PCSHS’ Teachers

My dear colleagues, co-teachers, and my extended family at Pacita Complex Senior High School, as we come together to celebrate National Teachers’ Month, my heart is overflowing with gratitude, humility, and joy for the honor of being with all of you on this journey of providing quality services to all our stakeholders. This occasion is not only a reminder of the nobility of our calling as educators, but also a chance to pause and recognize the silent sacrifices, the unyielding commitment, and the love for learning and teaching that each of you embody every single day.

In my 84 days of being entrusted with the role of your principal, I have been deeply touched by the warmth of your acceptance, your openness to new directions, and your willingness to embrace change for the better transformation of our school. I know that change is never easy, it can be unsettling, it can be uncomfortable, but because of your trust, patience, and dedication, we have turned challenges into opportunities and uncertainty into renewed hope. These 84 days have not only been days of leadership for me, but also days of learning, listening, and growing alongside you.

Each classroom, each corner of the school, carries with it the tireless labor of love from teachers who go beyond what is required, mentors who inspire, counselors who comfort, and leaders who guide our students toward brighter tomorrows. You are the lifeblood of this institution, and your perseverance continues to strengthen the foundation of Pacita Complex Senior High School.

This celebration is more than just a tribute to teaching as a profession; it is a celebration of who you are as individuals and as a collective force for good. You are not only educators, you are builders of dreams, molders of character, and champions of change. You have shown me, and continue to show me, that transformation is possible when there is unity of purpose, sincerity of service, and love at the center of all that we do.

To my colleagues, thank you for the depth of your commitment. To my co-teachers, thank you for the fire of your passion. To my family here in this school community, thank you for your trust and partnership in steering Pacita Complex Senior High School toward greater heights. You have welcomed me not only as a leader, but as a fellow worker in this mission of education, and for that I will be forever grateful.

As we celebrate National Teachers’ Month, let us continue to be reminded that our profession is not just a job, but a vocation of the heart, a lifelong mission that shapes lives and transforms societies. May this celebration rekindle our spirits, strengthen our bonds, and inspire us to keep moving forward together, no matter how many challenges lie ahead. Indeed, the future looks brighter because of each one of you. And as your principal, I could not ask for a greater blessing than to be standing with you in this noble mission.

In light of the recent devastation brought by Tropical Storms , , and , as well as the persistent rains, many of our kababayans in Brgy. Landayan have been displaced and are now taking refuge in evacuation centers. 🌀🌧️

In response, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines – PCSHS, in collaboration with other organizations, launches a Donation Drive for the affected families.

Ready-to-eat food (canned goods, noodles, biscuits, rice)
Bottled water
Hygiene kits (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary pads)
Medicines (paracetamol, oral rehydration salts)

Ang LagunaWISE kabilang ang mga organisasyon sa buong mundo ay nakiisa sa taunang Earth Hour o ang pagpapatay ng mga ilaw sa ating mga tahanan at mga establisyemento sa loob ng isang oras ngayong ika-22 ng Marso, 8:30-9:30pm.

Ang isang oras ay makakatulong na ito sa ating kalikasan at sa ating hinaharap. Nag-iisa lang ang ating mundo at gawin natin ang ating bahagi para maisalba ito. 🌏

It’s time for everyone to be aware: 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 is crucial for understanding that rabies can be contracted from any animal 🐕🐈🐵. Rabies can cause 𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 🏃‍♂️, 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 👻, 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 😵‍💫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐚 💧💦 (𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐚 🌪 (𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐢𝐫). There is currently no cure for rabies, but if contracted, we strongly advise you to head straight to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment. This month is designated as 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 to encourage people to be more knowledgeable about the risks of scratches and bites from random strays.

We recommend avoiding interaction with, or going anywhere near, strays that may be infected with rabies.
