ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

Following the declaration of a State of Calamity in the Province of Masbate, the Office of the Provincial Governor has ordered the suspension of classes at all levels (public and private) from September 29 to October 4, 2025.

This directive is issued to safeguard the safety and well-being of our students, especially as many classrooms and school facilities have been damaged by Typhoon Opong.

We urge everyone to remain vigilant, cooperative, and resilient as we work together toward recovery.

OPISYAL NA PAHAYAG 📣📣📣

Batay sa pinakahuling ulat ng DOST-PAGASA, inaasahan ang malalakas na pag-ulan mula ngayong araw hanggang bukas ng hapon (Agosto 26, 2025) dulot ng umiiral na Low Pressure Area (LPA) na nagpapalakas sa habagat. Ang mga pag-ulan at malalakas na bugso ng hangin ay maaaring magdulot ng pagbaha at landslide, lalo na sa mga mabababang lugar at bulubunduking bahagi ng lalawigan.

Bilang pag-iingat at para sa kaligtasan ng publiko:

📌 SUSPENDIDO ang klase sa lahat ng antas sa buong Lalawigan ng Masbate bukas, Martes, Agosto 26, 2025.
📌 Walang pasok sa lahat ng tanggapan ng pamahalaan, maliban sa mga essential personnel gaya ng first responders, disaster risk reduction teams, at emergency services.

Mahigpit na pinapayuhan ang lahat na:
✅ Manatili sa ligtas na lugar
✅ I-monitor ang mga abiso ng inyong LGU at ng DOST-PAGASA
✅ Maging handa sa posibleng emergency

Nakaalerto ang ating PDRRMO at iba pang kaugnay na ahensya upang tumugon anumang oras.

Wednesday: PATHFINDERING CLASS

The objective of the Pathfinder Club in Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) schools is to provide a church-centered, spiritual-recreational program for young people aged 10 to 15, fostering their physical, mental, social, and spiritual development.

The program aims to:

1. Build a Relationship with God: Encourage youth to develop a personal connection with God through spiritual activities, fostering a sense of love, care, and appreciation from God and the church.

2. Promote Personal Growth: Help Pathfinders discover their God-given potential, using their gifts to fulfill God’s plan and engage in outreach activities that express their faith.

3. Develop Leadership and Skills: Teach practical skills, hobbies, and leadership through a curriculum of six age-specific classes (Friend, Companion, Explorer, Ranger, Voyager, Guide) and nearly 350 specialized honors in areas like arts, crafts, nature, and vocational training, preparing youth for service and lifelong interests.

4. Encourage Physical Fitness and Outdoor Appreciation: Promote healthy living and a love for God’s creation through outdoor activities like camping, nature walks, and physical challenges, addressing the rapid physical development of this age group.

5. Foster Community and Teamwork: Unite youth, parents, and church members in group activities to bridge generational gaps, build meaningful relationships, and instill values like obedience, discipline, and community spirit.

6. Prioritize Personal Salvation: Make the personal salvation of each Pathfinder the top priority, recognizing that the ages of 10–15, particularly around 12, are critical for making decisions about faith and personal development.

The Pathfinder Club, while rooted in SDA values, welcomes youth of any or no religious affiliation who agree to abide by its Pledge and Law. It emphasizes learning by example, with leaders modeling spiritual and social values in a positive, supportive environment to ensure effective ministry to youth.
