Interact Club of Academia de San Ignacio de Loyola - ASIL

Interactors from Interact Club of Academia de San Ignacio de Loyola with the special participation of its sponsoring club, Rotary Club of San Pablo City Central, visited St. Martin de Porres Kid's Home to celebrate the approaching Yuletide season.
IC President Aeron Gloriane, Past President Tomi Majarucon, Treasurer Aryanna Chavez and Interactor Clarise Gesmundo took part in the project.
The project is funded by the RC SPC Central under the supervision of CYT Rolando Alino Inciong.
Sir Alquin Panergayo, Secretary of RC SPC Central personally participatedin the event.
ASIL faculty members, Mark James Javier, Diana Moreno, Cyrell E. Toribio, Ruth Corcega, and Jocelyn Plandez Marasigan, also joined the Interact Club of Academia de San Ignacio de Loyola - ASIL to the gift giving project.

First meeting of the year for Interact Club of ASIL with Past President Rolly Inciong, Current President of Rotary Club of San Pablo Central Pineng Agoncillo, and ASIL Board Member, Tina on July 26, 2017. New members were elected and the organizations for the whole year was discussed.

ASIL interactors attended the annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards 2016 (RYLA) with participating schools such as San Pablo Colleges and San Pablo City National High School, November 12 at South Lakes Integrated School.

The event was opened by Dr. Ian Angelo Sampelo, Rotary Club of San Pablo City Central President, and was followed by Ding Navasero, District Local RYLA Chairman. The theme was "Youth in Serving Humanity." The club was also with their officials like Charlie Hernandez, Alquin Panergayo, Christine Inciong, Erico Gapaganda, Michelle Cantupay, and Senia Emlano.

Every year, Rotarian clubs do this act for the youth. Their goals are to develop human leadership, communication skills, community and service. Usually, it lasts for two to three days. Kairah Medina, Tomi Majarucon, Zeus Ra, Joey Caber and Tere Maligaya from Interact Club of ASIL supported the event along with their adviser, Sir Niccolo Agulto.

The program consisted or activities and social development skills in order to be confident wiyh one another through keeping up with different people. Students looked forward to another RYLA.

The weekly meeting was held today at Room 110, 4pm.

Here we have our guest speaker, Miss Tina Estrellado. She is one of the board members of Academia de San Ignacio de Loyola, a new member of the Rotary Club of San Pablo City Central, and Max's owner. She accompanied interactors as well as listening to the new lecture, public speaking, by Sir Rolly Inciong.

Students whom competed in the Divison Meet 2016 was also noticed.

The annual program, World Cleanup Day, was conducted on September 17 and led by Mr. Rolando A.Inciong at Sampaloc Lake.

The opening remarks was spoken by an official member and San Pablo City Mayor, Loreto A. Amante. "Ilang taon na natin itong ginagawa... Pero marami pa rin tao ang walang disiplina," he said.

More than 20 civic organizations participated and everyone was welcome to join. Fellow fishermen was also their to help. As well as bringing their own cleaning materials such as walis, pandakot, tingting, rag, and trash bags.

The officials assigned each groups and organization to clean the shoreline not less than 4 kilometers. There were sponsors that provided and gave away free bread and water.

This is the first activity of Interact Club of ASIL. We were accompanied by teachers and principal whom also supported the event.

As an interactor, we may not get paid or receive trophy or medals through helping. But, we will leave the lake with our hearts full.
Let us be one for a brighter future.

The first official meeting of Interact Club of ASIL was conducted and pioneered by Mr. Rolando Inciong, school president, and Dr. Ian Sampelo, president of Rotary Club San Pablo City Central, September 6.

It was led by the emcee, Justine Perez. Next by Zeus Ra for the invocation and singing of the national anthem. Then, discussion on club matters by Tomi Majarucon. Last are the status of the page by Aeron Gloriane and upcoming activities by Angela Unico.

Dr. Sampelo lectured on different fields of leadership such as communication skills, styles, motivating volunteers, mentoring, time management, goal setting and accountability, strategic planning, ethics/four way test, building consensus and teamwork.

The closing remarks was said by Regine Embestro. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Sampelo's wife and Mr. Nico Agulto, adviser of Interact Club of ASIL.

The club now looks forward to the nearly event on joining Sampaloc Lake Clean up on September 17.
