We honor the heroes who fought for our freedom with their words, wisdom, and sacrifice, while recognizing the heroes among us now: the teachers who ignite minds, the health workers who save lives, the volunteers who serve communities, the farmers and workers who sustain our country, and the young leaders who choose integrity over indifference.

Sa pagitan ng mga titik, nananahan ang kasaysayan at pagkakakilanlan ng isang bayan.

Hindi kailangang maging madulang pahayag ang pag-ibig sa wika—makikita ito sa simpleng tawag ng anak sa magulang, sa biro na nauunawaan ng barkada, at sa pagsagot ng “opo” ng may puso. Ang Filipino ang nagbibigay-anyong tao sa mga karanasan natin: nagpapadali sa pag-unawa, nagpapalalim ng alaala, at nagpapalapit sa bawat kalooban. Sa panahon ng pagbabago, hindi natin kailangan bitawan ang ating naunang pananalita; kailangan lang itong dalhin nang may malasakit at katapatan.

At sa bawat bulong at tinig na ating ipinapahayag, nawa’y manatiling buhay ang wikang Filipino—wika ng paggunita, pagdiriwang, at pagkakaisa. Sapagkat habang isinasabuhay natin ito, patuloy ring nabubuhay ang ating nagkakaisang kultura at identitad.
