"Sandata"
Lirio Salvador, founder of the experimental sound group Elemento and creator of unique art instruments called “Sandata,” passed away last January. His legacy in art and music continues to live on.
In 2011, he was involved in an accident while walking in front of De La Salle University – Dasmariñas, where his art studio, Espasyo Siningdikato, was located. The incident left him with a severe brain injury that significantly affected his ability to continue his work and daily activities.
Today, he is celebrated as an icon in experimental music. His wife, Ms. Mary Ann Jimenez-Salvador, a museum curator, librarian at DLSUD, and an artist, continues to carry on his legacy.

"Passion"
Arabela, a restaurant in Liliw, the Tsinelas Capital of the Philippines, is located in a 200-year-old heritage house. The building once housed the oldest footwear shop in Liliw, Socialite Footwear, which is now 70 years old.
Mr. Bobby Camello, the owner of the restaurant, started a garment business in Liliw for 15 years. However, the business did not prosper because Chinese products were cheaper, and many customers preferred to buy imported goods.
Although they were once in the garment industry, Bobby and his wife’s true passion has always been in food. They did not realize at first that their calling was in the culinary field. Today, Arabela has been serving customers for 23 years. It mainly serves Italian cuisine and has become one of the most popular restaurants in Liliw.

"Original Grave"
A 95-year-old resident of Brgy. San Juan, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Mr. Severino Delgado Igualada, witnessed the old days of Emilio Jacinto's original grave. He recalled that the grave was once surrounded by guava trees and that the original tomb was simple and ordinary. Today, Emilio Jacinto's grave has a shrine, but very few people know about it. His remains were first transferred to the Mausoleo de los Veteranos de la Revolución in Manila on December 18, 1921, and later moved again in December 1976 to the Dambanang Emilio Jacinto in Himlayang Pilipino, Quezon City. A relative of Mr. Igualada, Mr. Pablo Delgado, who resides near the shrine, shared how Jacinto's shrine looked in the past. He said it had a small garden surrounding the original grave. He also mentioned that young people no longer understand the importance of history, especially the significance of the shrine.
