The College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) of the Laguna State Polytechnic University–San Pablo City Campus (LSPU-SPCC) prepared its graduating students for their transition from the classroom to the workplace through its On-the-Job Training (OJT) Orientation and Send-Off activities held at the Campus Amphitheater, Sep. 22.

The event brought together Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students preparing for industry immersion, focusing on equipping them with the knowledge, expectations, and workplace readiness needed for their upcoming training.

The Laguna State Polytechnic University does not condone acts of cruelty or conduct that runs contrary to the values of respect, responsibility, and compassion that we seek to uphold among our students and members of the academic community.

While the reported incident did not occur within University premises, the University is taking the matter seriously and is reviewing the circumstances within the bounds of its authority and applicable policies. We are likewise coordinating with the appropriate offices/authorities, as necessary, to ensure that the matter is addressed appropriately.

At the same time, we appeal to everyone to refrain from spreading unverified information, personal information, or statements that may unfairly influence fact-finding processes. We encourage members of the public to allow the appropriate processes to take their course.

The University remains committed to promoting a safe, responsible, compassionate, and respectful community, including respect for animals and the broader community in which we live and serve.

We will provide further information when appropriate and consistent with applicable laws, policies, and the rights of all concerned.

l 𝗟𝗦𝗣𝗨 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺

The Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) produced two topnotchers in the September 2026 Psychometrician Licensure Examination, Sept. 23.

From the LSPU-Santa Cruz Campus (SCC), Roderick B. Espinosa Jr. placed seventh with a rating of 93.00%, while Fria Laleine C. Francia placed 10th with a rating of 92.40%.

Meanwhile, the LSPU-San Pablo City Campus posted a 93.75% passing rate, higher than the national passing rate of 91.72%.

The university’s three regular campuses also produced new psychometricians, with LSPU-SCC recording an 88.64% passing rate, LSPU-Los Baños Campus at 87.10%, and LSPU-Siniloan Campus at 86.67%.

The College of Industrial Technology (CIT) emerged as the overall champion of the Intercollegiate Athletic Competition and Cultural Festival (ICAC-CAF) 2026, which brought together students from different academic colleges of the Laguna State Polytechnic University-San Pablo City Campus (LSPU-SPCC) in athletic and cultural competitions, Sep. 15-18.

The LSPU SPCC College of Teacher Education brought Filipino language, arts, culture, and traditions to the spotlight through WIKALAYA 2026, Sep. 9.

Anchored on the theme, “Talento’y Ipalaya, Talino’y Payabungin, Makinaryang Isip ay Gamitin, Huwag Paghariin,” the celebration gathered students from various majors in a series of competitions designed to showcase their creativity, knowledge, and appreciation of Filipino identity.

The event was spearheaded by 𝗞𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗠𝗙𝗜𝗟: Kapisanan ng KaMedyor sa Filipino in partnership with the CTE Student Council and department sub-organizations.
