𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 || 𝗦𝗣𝗖𝗖 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1050, series of 1997, declaring the month of September as Civil Service Month, Laguna State Polytechnic University–San Pablo City Campus (LSPU–SPCC) commemorates the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA), held at the University Field, Sept. 23.

In accordance to the Civil Service Commission’s (CSC) nationwide initiatives, under the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan,” the event aimed to recognize the dedication and contribution of the country's public servants, while also marking the founding anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service.

Featuring Larong Pinoy, teams from different college faculties and offices compete in collaborative activities including patintero, bato-bato pick, tug of war, and frog game, with participants showcasing sportsmanship, teamwork, and camaraderie.

Underscoring the importance of each role in maintaining the institution's overall orderliness, Administrative Officer V Annaliza De Roma expressed her appreciation to the public servants, noting that small changes can have a significant impact on the university.

“Every employee ay instrument ng positive change, kahit na maliit na improvement sa ating trabaho ay maaaring magkaroon ng malaking pagbabago sa ating institusyon. Sa bawat estudyante na ating tinutulungan, sa samahang ating sinusuportahan, at responsibilidad, naipapakita natin ang tunay na puso bilang lingkod-bayan,” De Roma clarified.

Moreover, she emphasized the importance of high-quality service in achieving merit in their field, maintaining humility and staying open to new learning regardless of their position at work.

Meanwhile, to encourage the public servants, Mark Paul Moraleja, Academic Professional Association (APA) president, stated; "Bagamat kulang pa [ang ating nakukuha] sa tinatrabaho, pero ganoon pa man ipinakita ninyo ang service, excellence at commitment, hindi dapat ito maging dahilan para lalo pang mawala ang ating benepisyo."

Concluding the event, an awarding ceremony was conducted to acknowledge the winners of the team-building activities.

Second Place: Arangkada (College of Criminal Justice Education & College of International Hospitality and Tourism Management Faculty)

Third Place: Mandirigma (College of Teacher Education Faculty) and Tala (College of Business Administration and Accountancy Faculty) (tie)

l 𝗟𝗦𝗣𝗨-𝗦𝗣𝗖𝗖 𝗖𝗖𝗦 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗖𝗜𝗧

A total of 33 students from the College of Computer Studies - LSPU San Pablo City Campus achieved high competency levels in the 14th Test of Practical Competency in Information and Communication Technology (TOPCIT), Aug. 28.

The standardized examination, administered nationwide on July 23, 2026, recognized the CCS achievers across two of its highest performance tiers: nine students attained Level 4 (Proficient), while 24 reached Level 3 (Competent).

The successful participants represented the campus’ core technology programs, specifically the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BS Info Tech).

From July 08–11, 2026, the College of Computer Studies spent a memorable few days in Ilocos, strengthening relationships, creating new memories, and enjoying moments of rest together.

As we return to our respective roles, we carry with us stronger bonds, renewed energy, and an even greater commitment to supporting one another in serving our students and the university.

📢 OSAS ADVISORY NO. 01 | UNIFORM LENIENCY PERIOD

Attention, LSPU-SPCC students! 🎓

To support our incoming First-Year Students and Transferees as they prepare for the opening of AY 2026–2027, the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) has implemented a temporary Uniform Leniency Period from July 27, 2026 to August 27, 2026.

📌 Important Reminders:

👕 For First-Year Students & Transferees
✅ Plain white polo shirt or plain white T-shirt (minimal print is acceptable)
👖 Blue or black denim jeans (not tattered)
🪪 Present your Certificate of Registration (COR) upon entry if your official Student ID has not yet been issued.

🎓 For Higher-Year Students
👔 Wear your prescribed school uniform, standard black shoes, and official Student ID starting July 27, 2026.

⚠️ Please be advised: Full implementation of the official University Dress Code for First-Year Students and Transferees will begin on August 28, 2026.

Let us all observe the prescribed dress code and help maintain the professionalism and identity of the LSPU community.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The College of Computer Studies (CCS) hereby announces the release of the Class Schedules for the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs for Academic Year 2026–2027.

All enrolled students are advised to review their respective class schedules carefully and verify their assigned sections, course offerings, class days and time, and room assignments.

Students are encouraged to keep a copy of their schedule for reference and to be guided accordingly in preparation for the opening of classes.
