San Juan Elementary School successfully celebrated Nutrition Month 2026 with the theme, โ€œNutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan.โ€

Through activities such as poster and slogan-making, healthy baon demonstration, Nutri-Trivia, vegetable planting, school gardening, waste segregation, and clean-up drive, our learners were encouraged to make healthy food choices while caring for and protecting the environment.

The celebration was made meaningful through the active participation of learners, teachers, parents, and community partners, strengthening our commitment to a healthier, greener, and more responsible school community.

The activity aimed to strengthen the learnersโ€™ skills in news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, sports writing, and other areas of campus journalism, while promoting responsible and ethical journalism.

In view of the continued heavy rainfall brought about by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon, and upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Ilocos Sur, La Union, Benguet, Pangasinan, Abra, Zambales, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Nueva Vizcaya, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna, and Occidental Mindoro are hereby suspended on 06 August 2026.
