๐ŸŒ Handa sa Lindol: Pagsasanay Para sa Kaligtasan ng Lahat ๐ŸŒ

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na adbokasiya ng Placido Escudero Memorial School sa kaligtasan at kahandaan, isinagawa ang isang Earthquake Drill Activity noong Oktubre 13, 2025.

Ang nasabing aktibidad ay isang inisyatibo ng paaralan na naglalayong:
โœ… Turuan ang mga mag-aaral ng tamang hakbang sa oras ng lindol tulad ng Duck, Cover, and Hold;
โœ… Mapanatili ang kalma at disiplina sa gitna ng emerhensiya; at
โœ… Maisulong ang kultura ng kahandaan at kaligtasan sa buong komunidad ng paaralan.

Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong mga pagsasanay, naihahanda ang mga bata hindi lamang sa teorya kundi sa aktuwal na pagresponde sa mga sakuna. Tunay na โ€œBida ang Batang Handa!โ€ sa PEMS. ๐Ÿ’ช

On October 10, 2025, the SPTA Executive Committee and Board of Directors of Placido Escudero Memorial School officially launched Project BASA, a reading initiative aimed at strengthening foundational literacy among learners through active parent and community involvement.

This meaningful project is spearheaded by SPTA President and Brgy. Sta. Elena Councilor, Hon. Arceli R. Bumagat, who continues to champion quality education and learner development through collaborative programs.

๐Ÿงฉ Child Protection and Safe Spaces Orientation for Educators

Our very own Maโ€™am Virginia L. Reyes, Master Teacher I and Guidance Counselor Designate of Placido Escudero Memorial School, attended the Orientation on the Implementation of the DepEd Child Protection Policy (DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012) and the Guidelines on the Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) held on October 8, 2025 at the DepEd San Pablo Training Center, Brgy. San Juan, San Pablo City.

The training underscored the Department of Educationโ€™s commitment to upholding safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environments by reinforcing policies against abuse, exploitation, discrimination, and bullying within schools.

DAPDAPAN DISTRICT RESEARCH CAPACITY BUILDING 2025
๐Ÿง  Theme: โ€œFrom Inquiry to Impact: Elevating Education Through Researchโ€

Teachers from Placido Escudero Memorial School, led by Maโ€™am Liza R. Lopez, Principal; Sir Louie A. Policarpio, Assistant School Head; and Maโ€™am Shiela Mae C. Masa, School Research Coordinator, proudly participated in the District Research Capacity Building (PROBE: Proactive Research Optimization for Better Education) organized by the Dapdapan District.

The training, held in two parts โ€” online on September 19, 2025 and face-to-face on October 7, 2025 at Dapdapan Elementary School โ€” equipped teachers with deeper understanding and practical skills in educational research.

Through this initiative, teachers are empowered to transform classroom inquiries into impactful studies that enhance learning outcomes and inform better educational practices.

Placido Escudero Memorial School proudly took part in the District Research Capacity Building: "From Inquiry to Impact โ€“ Elevating Education Through Research" held on September 19, 2025, via an online platform. The activity was spearheaded by our Public Schools District Supervisor (PSDS), Ma'am Michelle M. Dorado together with the Dapdapan District's School Head and our resource speaker, Sir Jayson B. Agarin, who shared valuable insights on elevating education through research-based practices.

Through this activity, PEMS teachers were given the opportunity to strengthen their capacity for research and innovation, paving the way for more evidence-based practices that can uplift learning outcomes.
