𝗜𝗸𝗮-𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂’𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗼𝗻𝗴 pagdiriwang ng 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗡𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻 ang ating ginugunita ngayon. Ito ay bilang pagpupugay sa sakripisyo ng bawat Pilipinong lumaban upang makamit ng bansa ang kasarinlan na idineklara noong 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗼 𝟭𝟮, 𝟭𝟴𝟵𝟴 sa 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘁, 𝗖𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲.🏛️

Bagamat ang opisyal na pagkilala sa ating kalayaan mula sa 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘀 ay naganap noong 𝗛𝘂𝗹𝘆𝗼 𝟰, 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟲 sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗦. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻, inilipat ito sa 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟮 𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗼 sa bisa ng 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗼. 𝟰𝟭𝟲𝟲 na nilagdaan ni 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹 noong 𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟰.

Ang okasyong ito ay nagsisilbing paalala na ang kalayaan ay hindi lamang isang karapatan, kundi isang responsibilidad na dapat nating pangalagaan at pahalagahan. Simbolo rin ito ng 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻, 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮, 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘆 na 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻. Nawa’y maging inspirasyon ito sa bawat isa na patuloy na paglingkuran at pagyamanin ang kulturang atin.

Noong 𝐢𝐤𝐚-𝟎𝟗 𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐲𝐨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, sa ginanap na “𝙂𝘼𝙒𝘼𝘿 𝙃𝙄𝙍𝘼𝙔𝘼: 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙪𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙨𝙖 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙇𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥, 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙮𝙤” sa DLPS Sports Pavilion, isang malaking karangalan at tagumpay para sa aming organisasyon ang makamit ang pagiging 𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝟐 – 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡.

Ang pagkilalang ito ay hindi lamang simpleng tropeo o parangal. Isa itong patunay na sa kabila ng pagod, sakripisyo, at mga pagsubok, may bunga ang tunay na paglilingkod at sama-samang pagkilos para sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral at komunidad.

Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat sa pamunuan ng pamantasan, sa Office of the Student Affairs and Services, at sa Office of the College Dean sa walang sawang suporta, paggabay, at tiwala sa kakayahan ng mga lider-estudyante na maging instrumento ng positibong pagbabago.

Kasabay rin nito ang pormal na panunumpa ng mga bagong lider-estudyante—mga kabataang handang maglingkod nang may integridad, malasakit, at paninindigan. Sa panahon ng ingay, maling impormasyon, at pagkakawatak-watak, nawa’y manatiling buhay ang diwa ng tunay na liderato: ang mamuno hindi para sa sarili, kundi para sa kapwa.

Ang Rank 2 na ito ay hindi katapusan—ito ay paalala na mas marami pa kaming kayang abutin, paglingkuran, at ipaglaban.

Para sa organisasyon. Para sa mga mag-aaral. Para sa kinabukasan.

The PLSP - Political Science Students’ Society (POLSSO) proudly brought to life 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐧: 𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐦𝐚𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔— an activity filled with excitement, teamwork, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Participants went through different stations packed with challenging games, thought-provoking questions, and interactive tasks that tested not only their knowledge and skills, but also their teamwork, determination, and camaraderie. Though exhausting at times, the activity became even more meaningful because of the laughter, energy, and shared experiences of everyone involved.

More than just a race, the event served as a reminder that every challenge requires strategy, perseverance, and collaboration — values that every Political Science student continues to embody both inside and outside the classroom.

Special thanks to our Program Chair, Ma’am Princess Mae C. Galang, for giving us the opportunity to experience this kind of meaningful activity, as well as for the guidance, support, and encouragement that greatly contributed to its success.

The 𝐏𝐋𝐒𝐏 - 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 (𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐒𝐒𝐎) successfully conducted its 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐎𝐎𝐀) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 as part of the POLSSO DAY last May 23, 2026 at the 𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲.

The event served as a meaningful platform to reflect on the organization’s accomplishments, challenges, initiatives, and experiences throughout the academic year. It also served as an opportunity to discuss future plans and student leadership, organizational growth, accountability, and active student participation within the Political Science community.

More than a presentation of reports and accomplishments, the SOOA 2026 became a reminder that leadership is rooted in service, commitment, and collective responsibility. Through this activity, POLSSO continues to uphold its mission of fostering empowered, principled, and service-oriented student leaders.

As one chapter closes and another begins, may this reflection inspire continuous growth, stronger collaboration, and a renewed commitment to serving the Ka-PolSay community with integrity and purpose. ✨
