Sta. Monica Elementary School faculty actively participated in the Learning System Reform Policies Orientation conducted by Department of Education Region IV-A CALABARZON on May 14, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The activity, facilitated by Dr. Jane G. Beron, Principal II, and monitored by Dr. Heidilyn S. Tolentino, District Supervisor, aimed to strengthen the faculty’s understanding of current educational reforms and policies to further improve the delivery of quality education for learners. The school proudly recognizes the active participation and commitment of the teaching force in continuously enhancing their professional growth for the benefit of every learner.

Learners are off to a great start as the ARAL Summer Program begins today, May 6, 2026.

Facilitated by our ARAL Tutor, Ma’am Aira B. Aguirre, with guidance from Dr. Heidilyn S. Tolentino (Fule Almeda District Supervisor) and the support of our dedicated school head, Dr. Jane G. Beron. ♥️

Parents of selected learners from Grades 2 to 6 actively participated in the ARAL Summer Program 2026 Orientation held on May 5, 2026, at the Principal’s Office of Sta. Monica Elementary School, led by School Head Dr. Jane G. Beron, together with ARAL tutor Ma’am Aira B. Aguirre, under the guidance of District Supervisor Dr. Heidilyn S. Tolentino.

ARAL Program Tutors & Support Aides! 📚

Are you passionate about helping students improve their academic skills?
The ARAL (Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning) Program is now accepting applications for Tutors and Support Aides to help our learners excel in Reading, Science, and Mathematics.

✨ Who can apply?
For ARAL Tutors:
• Eligible: DepEd teaching personnel, licensed teachers (outside DepEd), para-teachers, pre-service teachers, college graduates, and other qualified individuals in the community.
• Requirements: Must have good moral character, no criminal record, and a willingness to undergo mandatory training to improve teaching skills.
• Note: DepEd teachers cannot tutor their own assigned students.
For ARAL Support Aides:
• Role: Volunteers who provide non-instructional support.
• Requirements: Must be physically fit, have good moral character, and be willing to render voluntary service under the School Head.

📝 How to apply?
1. Submit an Expression of Intent: Use the prescribed template (Annex A for Tutors, Annex B for Support Aides).
2. Prepare your documents:
o Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS).
o Supporting documents (e.g., proof of license, good moral character certificate, academic records).
3. Submit your application: Bring your documents to the School Office and look for Ma'am Lilibeth S. Sarmiento, Admin. Officer II.

☑️ SCHEDULE: Daily - Monday to Thursday school learning, Friday Home Learning
☑️ LEARNERS:
📌ARAL Summer-Reading - Incoming Grade 2 to incoming Grade 11
📌ARAL Summer-Mathematics - Incoming Grades 2, 3, and 4

The issuance of the guidelines for the Summer Remediation Programs (which includes ARAL) is in its final stage of review and awaiting clearance. Kindly await updates by the end of this week.
