Today, September 9, 2026, the spirit of sportsmanship came alive as our school community gathered for the much-awaited School Intramurals! One of the most exciting highlights of the celebration was the Mr. and Ms. Alay Sports 2026, where our learners confidently showcased their sportswear, charm, confidence, and school spirit. Together with the colorful parade, inspiring messages, the lighting of the torch, the formal opening of the games, the athletes' oath, the raising of the grade-level banners, the energetic field demonstration of our Hataw Sayaw dancers, these activities set the tone for an Intramurals filled with sportsmanship, camaraderie, discipline, healthy competition, and school pride.

This meaningful celebration was made possible through the collective efforts of our dedicated teachers led by Dr. Jane G. Beron, Principal II, supportive SPTA officers, parents, barangay officials, and our enthusiastic learners.

Indeed, our School Intramurals was more than just a competition—it was a celebration of unity, confidence, friendship, sportsmanship, and the amazing talents of our Monicans!

On September 7, 2026, Sta. Monica Elementary School proudly participated in the First District Research Forum 2026 held at Fule Almeda Elementary School, San Pablo City. With the theme “SCORE (Strengthening the Culture of Research Engagement) at Fule Almenda District: Igniting Inquiry, Inspiring Innovation, and Shaping a Culture of Lifelong Learning,” the forum provided a meaningful avenue for educators to share research-based practices and innovations.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our School Principal, Dr. Jane G. Beron, for her guidance and unwavering support, and to our PSDS, Heidilyn S. Tolentino, EdD, for her encouragement and leadership. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the resource speakers and distinguished panel members for generously sharing their expertise, insights, and valuable feedback, which made the First District Research Forum 2026 a truly enriching and meaningful learning experience.

Today, September 3, 2026, Sta. Monica Elementary School joined the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill, strengthening our preparedness through the practice of essential safety protocols such as lockdown, secure concealment, and evacuation procedures.

Guided by a calm, orderly, and trauma-informed approach, the drill reinforced one important message: preparedness helps keep our school community safe.

Salute to our learners, teachers, non-teaching personnel, and community partners for making the drill successful and orderly!
