Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) took part in the Asian Conference on Advanced Manufacturing (ACAM 2025), a two-day international conference held at the Solaire Resort, Parañaque City, Oct. 22-23.

Themed “From Prototypes to Progress: Advancing Innovation through Additive Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence (AI),” the event brought together global and local industry leaders, researchers, innovators, and educators to explore advancements in additive manufacturing (3D printing) and artificial intelligence (AI), fostering innovation and global competitiveness.

A key highlight of the event was the Ceremonial Launching of Advanced Manufacturing Solutions, marking the establishment of 18 DOST-Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMCen) Regional Laboratories nationwide.

LSPU is one of the selected institutions granted the opportunity to host an AMCen Laboratory in Region IV-A, reaffirming its pivotal role in advancing research and innovation in manufacturing technologies.

Last November 14, 2025, the College of Industrial Technology proudly held both the 3rd Pinning Ceremony for Competent Industrial Technologists and the Awarding Ceremony for Outstanding Students and Academe–Industry Partners at the LSPU-SPCC Amphitheatre.

Our guest speakers enriched the celebration by sharing valuable insights that reflected the event’s theme, “𝐷𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐼𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑆𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙, 𝑆𝑦𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑔𝑦, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑖𝑐𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑇𝑒𝑐ℎ𝑛𝑜𝑙𝑜𝑔𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑙 𝐸𝑥𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝐼𝑛𝑑𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑦 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛.” Their messages highlighted the importance of collaboration, forward-thinking mindsets, and continuous improvement in shaping future-ready technologists.

We extend our deepest appreciation to the distinguished individuals who made this event even more meaningful. Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mario R. Briones, University President and Vice-Chairperson of the LSPU Board of Regents, for his steadfast leadership and inspiring message. The Dean’s List Award (AY 2024–2025) is a prestigious recognition given to students who have achieved superior scholastic standing through their remarkable General Weighted Average (GWA) and consistent academic excellence. This honor is awarded at the end of each semester to inspire students to keep raising the bar of excellence.

🔹 GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
1️⃣ Must carry the regular semestral load indicated in the curriculum (minimum of 15 units).
2️⃣ No failed course grade of 5.00 (F).
3️⃣ No course grade below 2.0 in any quarter.
4️⃣ Running GWA must be 1.75 to 1.00.
5️⃣ No official withdrawal or dropping of any course.
6️⃣ No grade of 4.00 (Conditional) or INC (Incomplete).
7️⃣ Has not been academically dismissed from a previous program.
8️⃣ No grade below 2.00 in NSTP & PE (not included in computation).
9️⃣ Must have no record of suspension due to violation of school rules and regulations.

2️⃣ Complete the form and attach a Certified True Copy of your Grades.
3️⃣ Submit the accomplished form to your Class Adviser for evaluation.
4️⃣ After evaluation, forward the form to the Office of Student Affairs for certification.
5️⃣ Submit the certified form to the CIT Program Head for endorsement.
6️⃣ Endorsed forms will then be submitted to the College Dean for approval.
7️⃣ Finally, return the accomplished and approved form to the CIT Program Head.
