We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved teacher, Lorina Villanueva.
Ma’am Ynah was more than an educator—she was a joyful presence in our hallways and a firm yet loving guide inside the classroom. Her laughter made learning light, and her discipline shaped our students into stronger, better individuals. She had a heart that truly cared, always believing in the potential of every child she taught.
Her dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment to her learners will forever be remembered. Though her voice may no longer echo in our classrooms, the lessons she instilled and the values she nurtured will continue to live on in the hearts of her students and colleagues.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Thank you, Ma’am Ynah, for the joy, wisdom, and love you shared with our school community. You will always be remembered and dearly missed. 🤍

KS1 Teachers of San Vicente Elementary School: ᴇxᴄᴇᴇᴅɪɴɢ ᴇxᴘᴇᴄᴛᴀᴛɪᴏɴꜱ ᴛʜʀᴏᴜɢʜ Qᴜᴀʟɪᴛʏ ɪɴꜱᴛʀᴜᴄᴛɪᴏɴ
Teachers from Kinder to Grade 3 demonstrated commendable instructional competence and professionalism during the 3rd Quarter Classroom Observation. Their strong commitment to delivering quality, learner-centered instruction that responds to the needs of young learners and supports holistic development is evident.
Across different learning areas, the teachers displayed a deep and coherent understanding of lesson content, ensuring that learning competencies were clearly articulated and meaningfully connected. Lessons were well-structured and developmentally appropriate, allowing learners to grasp concepts with clarity and confidence. They also addressed learner diversity by employing targeted and differentiated strategies, ensuring that every learner was engaged, supported, and given opportunities to succeed.
A notable strength observed in the lessons was the intentional integration of literacy and numeracy skills across subjects.
Furthermore, learners’ higher-order thinking skills were effectively nurtured through the teachers’ thoughtful use of the art of questioning. Questions were designed to stimulate thinking, encourage reasoning, and promote meaningful learner participation beyond simple recall.
Through reflective practice and openness to professional guidance given by Ma’am Liza Castillo, the school principal and their master teacher, Ma’am Ariane Jake Agacid, the KS1 teachers were able to elevate their instructional delivery and maximize learner engagement.
