Many class suspensions and schedule changes delayed this event for quite some time. But finally, the ๐‘บ๐’•๐’‚๐’•๐’† ๐’๐’‡ ๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’€๐’๐’–๐’•๐’‰ ๐‘จ๐’…๐’…๐’“๐’†๐’”๐’” 2026 took place! And it was truly worth the wait! Everything turned out beautifully and even better than expected.

The program began with a warm and meaningful message from ๐‘ด๐’“๐’”. ๐‘ฎ๐’“๐’†๐’•๐’„๐’‰๐’†๐’ ๐‘ฎ๐’‚๐’“๐’„๐’Š๐’‚-๐‘ช๐’‚๐’‘๐’Š๐’•๐’, Assistant Dean of the College of Teacher Education and TESC Adviser. Her words set a hopeful and inspiring tone for the whole gathering. After the opening message, the plenary session officially started. The first part was a simulation of parliamentary procedure, where house rules were carefully discussed and agreed upon together. Everyone had the chance to share thoughts, raise motions, and state objections openly, making sure every voice was heard and respected. Once the rules were settled, the session moved forward. Each organization proudly presented their Calendar of Activities, sharing exciting plans for the school year.

Well-deserved recognition and awarding followed, honoring the successful events and achievements that have taken place so far. The session then proceeded to the election of the next set of Executive Officers who will lead for the Mid-Year State of the Youth Address. The event concluded beautifully with an inspiring closing message from TESC President ๐‘ด๐’”. ๐‘จ๐’๐’ˆ๐’†๐’๐’Š๐’„๐’‚ ๐‘ต. ๐‘ถ๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’…๐’.

This gathering brought together student leaders across the College of Teacher Education, united by one purpose, to build a college where every voice matters. It was a moment of coming as one, not just organizations, but a whole community working hand in hand toward a brighter, better place for all future educators.

A meaningful beginning for our future educators! The College of Teacher Education successfully concluded its Freshmen Orientation, welcoming our newest Edukados as they officially begin their journey in the college.

The program opened with the inspiring Opening Remarks of our College Dean, ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘ฑ๐’‚๐’š ๐‘จ๐’๐’ ๐‘ช๐’๐’๐’”๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’๐’‚๐’…๐’-๐‘ถ๐’„๐’•๐’๐’Ž๐’‚๐’, followed by special messages from our College President, ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘บ๐’Š๐’ˆ๐’‡๐’“๐’†๐’…๐’ ๐‘ช. ๐‘จ๐’…๐’‚๐’‹๐’‚๐’“, and our Vice President for Academic Affairs, ๐‘ซ๐’“. ๐‘ฒ๐’–๐’“๐’• ๐‘ช๐’š๐’“๐’–๐’” ๐‘ฑ๐’๐’‰๐’ ๐‘ท. ๐‘ช๐’‚๐’ƒ๐’“๐’‚๐’. As Education students and future educators, we carry ourselves with dignity and pride for our institution. Our Studentโ€™s Handbook sets clear guidelines on the prescribed student uniform and proper dress code. These policies reflect the professionalism we uphold. All students are expected to observe these guidelines while on campus during class days, in accordance with the Student Handbook. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Section 1. Prescribed Student Uniform
1. General Policy
๐Ÿ“ŒAll DLSP students are required to wear the prescribed school uniform while on campus during class days. Exemptions are granted only by the Office of Student Affairs and Services .

๐Ÿ“ŒB. Guidelines on exemption from wearing the prescribed uniform:
1. All written requests for exemption from wearing the prescribed uniform should be addressed to the Dean of Student Affairs and Services.
2. The College Deans, Area Coordinators and Instructors may request the Head of Student Affairs on behalf of their students, for uniform exemption.
3. The following students may be granted exemption:
3.1 Students with full-time jobs outside DLSP that require them to wear office uniform; however, male students with full-time jobs requiring them to wear colorless shirts and/or denim pants are not covered by this exemption;
3.2 Students whose pregnancy has become obvious;
3.3 Student organizers of an activity who must prepare/decorate the venue; and
3.4 Students in mourning
4. Students attending Saturday classes are not required to wear uniform.
5. Students are prohibited to wear cross-dressing.
6. The male student strictly observe the proper hair grooming (improper hair grooming such as highlights, dyed and long hair).
7. Students are allowed to wear their Internship/On-the-Job uniform during regular classes.
8. Students taking PE classes may wear their PE uniform on campus but not inside the classroom during their academic classes. PE, CWTS or ROTC uniform is not to be used as substitute, unless it is the only class/subject they have for that given day. If their first class is PE, students are allowed to enter wearing their PE uniform. However, they should immediately change in their proper uniform right after their PE class. Laboratory attires are allowed to be worn during laboratory classes only.
9. The College allows student to come to school in civilian wear every Saturday although the following shall not be allowed: shorts, slippers, tattered denim pants (for male students); wooden shoes, sleeveless / hanging blouse, mini skirts (for female students).

๐Ÿ“ŒC. Department-Specific Dress Code

While Academic Departments adhere to the minimum standards on dress code set forth by the College/Dalubhasaan, they also prescribe corresponding specific dress code for their students. Hence, students should comply with the specific guidelines on dress code issued by their respective Departments.

Please be guided by the Student Handbook at all times. Following these rules shows discipline and pride as DLSP students and as future educators. Let us set a good example for everyone. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
