Laguna State Polytechnic University-San Pablo City Campus (LSPU-SPCC) marked another milestone in its expanding network of academic collaborations with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Tarlac State University-Lucinda Campus (TSU-LC), Oct. 22.

The partnership builds on LSPU-SPCC’s recent momentum following the successful Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) ceremonial signing with Batangas State University ARASOF-Nasugbu and earlier consultations for future collaborative initiatives held on May 27, 2025. Together, these engagements reflect the campus’s strategic push to strengthen inter-institutional cooperation and broaden opportunities in higher education.

Justice just got a tech upgrade.

Laguna State Polytechnic University-San Pablo City Campus (LSPU–SPCC) took the spotlight at Tarlac State University-Lucinda Campus (TSU-LC) as it unveiled two groundbreaking forensic projects designed to promote justice, sustainability, and employability, Oct. 22.

Leading the LSPU-SPCC delegation was A/Prof. Joel M. Bawica, Campus Director of LSPU-SPCC, together with Dr. Marlon M. Wankey, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education; A/Prof. Ronnel A. Dela Cruz, Associate Dean of the College of Computer Studies; Dr. Julie Fe D. Panoy, Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; and Dr. Desiree L. Wagan, Associate Dean of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy.

The team introduced two innovative research outputs:

- Forensic QDE App: Software Image Analysis: a digital tool designed to enhance document and handwriting analysis using advanced image-processing technology.

- Green Forensics: Innovative Sustainable Fingerprint Powder: an eco-friendly alternative to traditional forensic powders, reducing environmental impact while maintaining accuracy in crime scene investigations.

CCJE joins the 1st International Peace Education Seminar!

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) proudly participated in the 1st International Peace Education Seminar held on September 8, 2025, at Urdaneta City University and via Zoom,.

In partnership with the Global Peace Foundation, Peace Corps, and various institutions, the seminar instilled the values of peace, unity, and responsible global citizenship among students.

We take great pride as our very own Mr. Marlon M. Wankey, CCJE Dean of LSPU–San Pablo City Campus, was one of the esteemed guest speakers. Dean Wankey emphasized the vital role of criminology education in advancing peace and justice—aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 16 Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, promoting just, peaceful, and inclusive societies, and SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals, strengthening collaboration and global cooperation to achieve sustainable development.

As future peacekeepers and protectors of justice, the CCJE community remains committed to nurturing a culture of justice, empathy, and cooperation—within our communities and beyond. 💙🌎
