Dolores Elementary School Welcomes DICT Free Wi-Fi for All Program
Dolores Elementary School is grateful for the successful installation of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Free Wi-Fi for All access today, August 5, 2026, marking another significant milestone in strengthening digital education and enhancing communication within the school community.
The installation of the free internet connection provides learners, teachers, and school personnel with better access to online educational resources, digital learning platforms, and essential communication services, creating more opportunities for meaningful and technology-enhanced learning.
The Free Wi-Fi for All Program is anchored on Republic Act No. 10929, also known as the Free Internet Access in Public Places Act, which mandates the provision of free internet access in public places, including public schools, to help bridge the country's digital divide. The program has been further strengthened under the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. through the Bagong Pilipinas agenda, which promotes digital transformation, improved connectivity, and equitable access to government services and quality education through modern technology.
The entire Dolores Elementary School community, led by Our Principal Ma'am Hilda E. Balaaldia, together with its dedicated teachers, learners, parents, and stakeholders, extends its heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to the Department of Information and Communications Technology - DICT , DepEd Tayo San Pablo City , DepEd R-4A Calabarzon , DepEd Philippines, and everyone who made this project possible. This valuable initiative reflects a shared commitment to providing accessible, inclusive, and technology-driven education for every learner.
