𝐏𝐀𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐋𝐀 | 𝐀𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 129 ng Malacañang, ipatutupad ang alternative learning mode sa Sta. Maria National High School bukas, Agosto 19, 2026, dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng pinaigting na Habagat.

Pinapayuhan ang mga mag-aaral na makipag-ugnayan sa kanilang mga g**o at adviser para sa mga gawain at iba pang tagubilin.

Manatili sa ligtas na lugar at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na anunsyo.

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the National Capital Region and the provinces of Abra, Benguet, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, and Oriental Mindoro are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 19 August 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

PAALALA | ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODE SA AGOSTO 18, 2026

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 128 ng Malacañang at sa abiso ng Pamahalaang Bayan ng San Nicolas, ipatutupad bukas, Agosto 18, 2026, ang alternative learning mode sa lahat ng antas ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan dahil sa patuloy na malakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Southwest Monsoon o Habagat.

Dahil dito, walang face-to-face classes sa Sta. Maria National High School. Ang mga mag-aaral ay mananatili sa kanilang mga tahanan at susunod sa mga gawaing pampagkatuto at iba pang panutong ibibigay ng kanilang mga g**o sa pamamagitan ng naaangkop na alternative learning mode.

Hinihikayat ang lahat ng Marians at kanilang mga magulang na manatiling nakaantabay sa mga opisyal na anunsyo ng paaralan at ng lokal na pamahalaan.

Mag-ingat po tayong lahat, Marians! Patuloy na maging alerto at unahin ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa.

Magkaiba ang 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 at 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Ang 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐲 ay nagbibigay ng mas malawak na pagtataya ng dami ng ulan sa antas ng lalawigan para sa mga susunod na 𝟐𝟒-𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐬 na panahon. Hindi nito nangangahulugang pare-pareho ang lakas ng ulan sa lahat ng bayan.

Ang 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 naman ay mas tiyak at panandalian. Saklaw nito ang susunod na 𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐬 at maaaring tukuyin ang mga apektadong lungsod o bayan gamit ang kasalukuyang obserbasyon at datos mula sa Doppler radar.

Ang Weather Advisory ay hindi awtomatikong nangangahulugan ng suspensiyon ng klase. Para sa agarang sitwasyon sa San Nicolas, bantayan ang Heavy Rainfall Warnings mula sa PAGASA Northern Luzon PRSD at hintayin ang opisyal na anunsiyo ng LGU o paaralan.

𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐘 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍

PAGASA forecasts 100–200 millimeters of rain over Pangasinan from Monday, August 17, until Tuesday afternoon, August 18, due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

Another 100–200 millimeters is expected from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall may decrease to 50–100 millimeters from Wednesday afternoon until Thursday afternoon.

Flooding is likely in low-lying communities and areas near rivers, while landslides may occur in mountainous locations. Rainfall may also be heavier in elevated parts of San Nicolas.

Marians are advised to monitor official announcements from PAGASA, the local government, and the school.

Marians are encouraged to prepare for possible rainy school days as the Southwest Monsoon, or Habagat, may bring occasional to frequent rains over Pangasinan until Wednesday, August 19, according to DOST-PAGASA.

Learners, teachers, and school personnel are advised to bring umbrellas or raincoats and protect books, gadgets, and other school materials from the rain. Everyone should also exercise caution on wet and slippery pathways and avoid crossing flooded roads.

Marians are encouraged to monitor official weather bulletins and school announcements for possible changes in weather conditions and class schedules.
