Preparedness meets peace of mind! Today, Patong Elementary School successfully partook in the National Simultaneous School Safety Drill, prioritizing the total well-being, safety, and security of our dear learners.
Following the Department of Education's trauma-informed and child-centered guidelines under Secretary Sonny Angara, our school focused on building calm operational confidence and muscle memory—strictly steering clear of fear-inducing simulations.
From practicing systematic walkthroughs, silent concealment, and securing entry points to reviewing safe evacuation routes, our pupils and teachers demonstrated remarkable discipline and cooperation. A massive thank you to our dedicated faculty, attentive staff, supportive parents, and community partners for working hand-in-hand to ensure that safety remains our topmost priority!

Patong Elementary School formally acknowledges and expresses sincere appreciation to the Barangay Officials headed by Chairperson Hon. Jovita Reboso for their invaluable support and active participation in the successful conduct of the School Safety Drill.
Special recognition is extended to the BDRR Committee, represented by Hon. Renato Landrito, for the guidance and assistance provided in ensuring the proper implementation of safety procedures and emergency preparedness measures.
Deep appreciation is likewise given to the Barangay Tanod, headed by Chief Tanod Mr. Henry Acha, together with Mr. Reynaldo Cirera and Mr. Marcel Barbado, for their dedication, presence, and essential role in maintaining order and safety throughout the activity.
Patong Elementary School also acknowledges Mr. Lito Bacanes, security personnel, for the valuable assistance rendered during the drill, and Mr. Ian Labaydan, who served as the actor portraying the attacker, for contributing to the ex*****on of the safety simulation.
The school further recognizes the commitment, cooperation, and active involvement of the stakeholders, parents and guardians, faculty and staff, whose collective efforts greatly contributed to the resounding success of the School Safety Drill.
