As we celebrate the 25th Founding Anniversary of Vedasto R. Santiago High School, we invite our school community to showcase their creativity and help design a symbol that will represent 25 years of excellence, unity, and legacy.

👥 WHO CAN JOIN?

The contest is open to:

• Current learners of Vedasto R. Santiago High School
• Teaching and non-teaching personnel
• Alumni
• Parents and other school stakeholders

Each participant may submit only ONE (1) entry.

🎨 CONTEST REQUIREMENTS

Entries should:

• Be an original design created by the participant
• Reflect the official anniversary theme
• Communicate the significance of the school's 25th Founding Anniversary
• Incorporate meaningful elements representing the school's history and heritage, excellence and achievements, unity and community, values and identity, and aspirations for the future
• Include the text: VEDASTO R. SANTIAGO HIGH SCHOOL 25TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
• Be suitable for both print and digital use
• Be scalable and recognizable in different sizes

📐 DESIGN & SUBMISSION

• Manual or digital designs are accepted.
• Digital entries should be in PNG or JPG format, high resolution, preferably 300 DPI.
• A short design description explaining the concept, symbolism, colors, and elements used must be submitted, with a maximum of 150 words.
• Submit the required participant information together with the entry.

📅 Submission Period: October 1–26, 2026
⏰ Deadline: October 27, 2026

Relevance to the Anniversary Theme – 30%
Creativity and Originality – 25%
Symbolism and Meaning – 20%
Visual Impact and Aesthetic Quality – 15%
Technical Quality and Adaptability – 10%

📌 IMPORTANT

Designs generated entirely by artificial intelligence (AI) shall not be accepted as original entries. AI tools may only be used, if permitted, for minor references or brainstorming; the final artwork must be substantially created and designed by the participant.

The Grand Winning Design shall become the Official Logo of the 25th Founding Anniversary of Vedasto R. Santiago High School and may be used in official anniversary-related materials.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓-𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌 𝐏𝐓𝐀 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐒

Vedasto R. Santiago High School held its First-Term PTA Meeting and Distribution of Progress Report Cards on September 18, 2026, at the VRSHS Covered Court, bringing together school personnel, parents, and guardians for updates, discussions, and stronger home-school collaboration.

The program featured insightful discussions from PMaj. Oliver M. Valdez, Assistant Force Commander and Platoon Leader of the 3rd Maneuver Platoon, 2nd PMFC, on Responsible Social Media Usage Among Students; Desiree D. Almenanza, Teacher VI/Guidance Designated, and Reden P. Sarmiento, Teacher III/Guidance Designated, on DepEd Order No. 6, s. 2026; and Mrs. Jennet Manalo, School Principal IV, who delivered the Opening Remarks.

The gathering also included the PTA Issues and Concerns led by Naiza DC. Martinez, PTA President, an intermission number from the Veda Choir, and closing remarks from Rodelyn S. Galos, Teacher III/FEA President.

The activity concluded with the distribution of progress report cards and parent-teacher consultations, providing parents and guardians an opportunity to discuss their children’s academic progress with their respective class advisers.

VRSHS extends its appreciation to all parents, guardians, teachers, learners, speakers, and stakeholders who contributed to the success of the First-Term PTA Meeting.

The assembly served as a crucial platform to address key academic initiatives, present updates on campus development projects, and align organizational goals for the ongoing school year. School heads and faculty members shared valuable insights into student performance metrics, upcoming extracurricular activities, and safety guidelines designed to support learners both inside and outside the classroom.
