Naga, Cebu – Bugang National High School (BNHS) athletes showcased their prowess in combative sports at the Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association ( CVIRAA)Meet held in Naga City, Cebu from March 22 - 28 , 2026, bringing home a remarkable collection of medal.

Davin Zeke N. Macalam of Bugang National High School Tops BSP Provincial Oratorical Contest

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol – March 14, 2026 – Davin Zeke N. Macalam from Bugang National High School emerged as champion in the Oration for Senior Scouts of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Council Talents Quest held today at Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School.

The young orator impressed the panel of judges with his compelling delivery and insightful message, beating competitors from various schools across the province.

Janette L. Hoyle, Macalam’s coach, expressed pride in his achievement: “The right time has come for Davin to reach the long awaited victory. His dedication and passion for public speaking are truly remarkable.”

Liza V. Orevillo, principal of Bugang National High School, noted that the win reflects the institution’s commitment to nurturing students’ communication skills and leadership potential.
